If you don't mind me asking the question anyone who mods a car hates to think about, but what do you think it cost $$$$ all in? Been debating a turbo setup on my daily driver 17 gt pp but can't find any all in prices and am scared to buy a kit and find out I can't afford to finish it

@Outlaw, my wife asked me that the other day, and I did the "I'm stupid" shoulder shrug. To be fair, I don't even want to know. But it definitely depends on how fast you want to go and how pretty you want to make it. I believe my On3 kit with injectors and eBoost2 boost controller and such was around $8k or so, the Fore fuel system minus the injectors was about $4k, the AMS2000 Pro boost controller I switched over to, but didn't need was $3k. Everything else I did was just to upgrade or make pretty, but not a must-have. Without installation, it was probably around $12k between the turbo kit and fuel system. I also have an RPG long block, which came with OPG's, so if you don't have those yet, that is definitely a must. Other than that, you can just add and upgrade as you go. I have literally stockpiled parts for a few years before finally getting everything installed.

If you are keeping boost reasonable at first you can get everything you need for about 10k if you do the work yourself. And hit up beefcake for a good price.

This is real talk right here! I feel the same way about mine. It just doesn’t stop (need this, need that, want this, want that). Don’t forget about any fabrication work that may be needed. That’s why I keep saying my turbo install is like a defective taxi cab meter that is ripping me a new one by the minute.

@Outlaw I would say that realistically speaking, plan on the cost of the kit, plus an additional 2/3 of that amount in miscellaneous stuff (not including labor, if you don’t do it yourself).

Don't mean to come across as a dick or as a downer but if its your daily id personally save for a beater car first before boost, when I was young I went alittle overboard on my daily and it was a mistake, best of luck which ever route you go

I've got a 231k mile honda pilot. Reliable as can be original spark plugs and all never maintained once lmao. Leaks so much oil it hasn't had an oil change in 2 years since fresh oil is added so often. My 52k now 64k miles 2017 has left me stranded more than any other vehicle I've owned. Losing my faith in Ford

It was. I've never owned multiple except my stang and bike ever. With how much it's left me stranded/been in the shop I've had to pickup a beater

That wiring is enough to scare me. I definitely appreciate the attention to detail on the power coating. It looks awesome. I moved around my wiring but, didn't want to do that
