it will definitely help! I did their shocks and springs and BMR's CB005 and it feels awesome. super buttoned down and responsive. It finally feels like a real sports car.

I said no because I think the base brakes are plenty good enough and the GT PP doesn't upgrade the handling enough to make it worthwhile. I bought a base GT and it worked great on the road course.

Speaking as someone who's kind of over trying to mod his daily driver, but who still wants to track it on occasion, the package was absolutely worth it to me. Without even a moment's hesitation.

As someone else mentioned, the 15" brakes alone make it worthwhile if you plan on giving your Stang any track duty. Those things are beastly.

The base GT brakes will definitely fade if driver skill, track speed, and/or tires are better than average. We're talking about both a lot of power and a lot of weight. But they're fine if you're starting out.

The other thing is the pedal feel is so much better with the PP, and it's just nice to have brakes that don't need to work as hard on the track.

Had they offered it in automatic, I would be driving it now. I would have ditched the recaro seats though.

Great Deal if you plan on keeping it stock...

Horrible Deal if you plan modding of any kind...

Brembos are nice, but they are heavy and rotor size will limit wheel choice.

Long story short... I only find the larger radiator and 3.73s worth it... Everything else needs to be swapped

I find everything useful for a modder except suspension and wheels/tires.

Pads and fluid will easily take care of that. The 6 pots are lovely, I agree, but you can make the 4 pots bite well and resist fade just fine. Add some brake cooling and you're set. Agreed that if you know you're going to track the car, the Brembos are worth it.

They can fade, especially if you add all those factors and it's a hot day in Dallas. I had no trouble with fade, but I'm probably not a better than average driver and it wasn't a hot day. I know at the GT350 track attack I was one of the faster guys, but those guys were probably all below average as well. ;) I hate going to the track when it's much hotter than 75 degrees anyway. I'll be in the car sweating buckets.

Have you driven the regular GT on the track to really make a comparison? Or are you just stating as if it's fact but really you don't know? I haven't driven the GT PP, but I have driven the regular GT and my GT350 at the track. I still think the regular GT brakes are good enough to take to the track. Obviously bigger is better with brakes, but the regular GT brakes are quite good.

Doing a lot of mountain cruising, I can tell you the brembos are worth it. My other cars which had good brakes but not brembos would really start to degrade coming back down the mountains. The 6 pots, they stay solid the whole times I've put them through their trials. While I never drove a S550 without them, you can't go wrong with solid brake system on any car, even after upgrading fluids and lines on standard systems it only helps so much.

I did test drive a 2017 Ford Mustang GT PP but the salesman that took over for the young guy was an old man and I did'nt want to push the car hard for fear it would give him a heart attack. :D

Wow! At this point in the poll it's 10:1 for the PP being worth it. You have to admit all that equipment for $2495 installed is a smoking deal.

So I seem to have the same opinion as a lot of the others - I feel the PP was totally worth it as far as what you get for the money - even though I really only wanted it for the Brembos & wheels. That being said my complaints are minor. I think the factory brake pads on the front produce way too much brake dust; but I have bought different pads in hopes to remedy that. As others have stated, the I don't really like the 3.73s for daily driving - I'm seriously considering swapping them for 3.55s.

In cooler weather the brembos are soooooo squeaky. Makes it sound like an old pickup truck.
