No clue about the ecoboost, but the Premium GT, Performance Pack cars have Line lock.
As they were all manual transmissions, launch control was unnecessary on GTPP cars.
Those are hexadecimal values.
each ? or X corresponds to four 1/0 values.
E = 1110
C = 1100
Your image indicates that the 2^1 bit in the first nibble of 720-10-01 applies to active exhaust.
Convention says that the X's are not to be touched as they have no bearing on the particular feature...
One thing about the 16 & 17 APIM is there were nav & non-nav versions.
The non-nav version had a bare minimum of space and was unreliable when it came to updating. From what I can tell, the developers did all of their testing on the nav versions and just called it good, leaving us non-nav folk...
Voltage doesn't ramp up. It's pulse width modulation (PWM). The pulse voltages are always 12v, but the duty cycle begins short and increases until fully on.
The trick is there is a status message, too. So you can inject a packet to turn the fan on, and the fan may turn on, but if the PCM doesn't want the fan on and sees it on, it will immediately turn it back off.
To accomplish this, you would have to clone the fan and put it on a separate...
As was mentioned before, there are a number of reasons to have the shift pattern displayed. Although it doesn't have to be on the shift knob. One method that was fairly common in tractors was plates. These tended to wear out over time and become useless. They are also increasingly difficult...
That's odd. Is there anything aftermarket on your vehicle?
On my '16, if the knob is set to AUTO, there is no door ajar chime. If the knob is set to PARK or ON, the appropriate lights stay on no matter what state the ignition is in, and, if the ignition is off and the door is open, it chimes...
On a 2016 you can disable the double-honk that happens when you leave the vehicle running and get out. The chime that reminds you to turn your headlamps off to spare your battery when the vehicle is off hasn't ever been discussed before, but as that has been a feature of vehicles since the...
I don't believe there is any market where the amber marker lamps are supposed to be off when the headlamps are on. The amber marker lamps are required. Removing them would likely make your vehicle fail any required inspection.
If you're trying to alter the vehicle to be compliant for a market it wasn't engineered for, good luck. There are entire teams of people doing this for vehicle and equipment manufacturers.
