Beautiful car, I’ve been considering selling my HP manual for an A10 HP or getting an auto Supra. Any reason you chose the manual over the auto. Reason being is an injury I had 3 years ago makes it impossible for me to track with a manual

I sat in a Supra at my local dealer when I had the GR86 in for service. I like a small car, but the ergonomics just didn't fit me at 6'4". The GR86 is quite a bit more roomy. Too bad, because I bet the Supra is a blast to drive. I would have liked to own one for a while.

To the OP, congrats on the purchase! Have fun and come back to talk about your experiences.

Are you gonna squeeze lots more power out of it, or just enjoy it as is? I’d love to have a quick Supra.

OP, despite what my opinion of the Supra is, how was negotiations? Did the dealers still have ADM? Any other light you can shed on buying performance cars these days? Is it still a mess, or are dealers willing to com off sticker?

I’m almost ashamed to say. I’ve traded the mustang in for a 2024 Supra. It’s been awesome being a part of this forum. I’ve learned so much and have gotten so much help. You guys are an amazing community. I hope the a90/a91 community is as welcoming.
They are a weird group, but the car is amazing. A lot of fun to drive

I’ve always been more into the manuals. My mustang was the first auto performance car. I wasn’t too happy with it. I’m more of a road race/track/time attack guy and the auto just didn’t keep up

I wasn’t able to get them to come off sticker. I searched all around and lots of dealerships claim to have it for MSRP but then add a bunch of crap. The dealership here wanted 10k in dealer added accessories. I got them down to MSRP and we split cost of PPF on the front. The ford dealership next door just sold a dark horse for 15k over MSRP. RIDICULOUS

I’m thinking Intake, charge pipe, catted down pipe and then a full exhaust. Nothing too crazy.

I had the A10 in my Mustang, strong, versatile transmission that maybe could use a little better shift logic. My BMW has the ZF 8 speed used in the Supra and it's one of the best. Both are faster than a manual, especially noticeable in the Supra. I have no desire to go back to a manual transmission.

Up until about three weeks ago, I would have scoffed at the idea. Then I ran into a pretty red one north of Dallas and he gave me a run for the money.

Post-shenanigans he followed me into a gas station and we chatted for a bit…1,000 pounds less and up to 500hp is hard to sneeze at, especially when he’s glued to your tail at naughty speeds šŸ˜‚

He told you it was 2800 lbs?! It must have been stripped and completely devoid of creature comforts, like seat padding.

Did he kill Bin Laden too?
