It's nice and comfy. Definitely a boat that doesn't handle like a Type R, but it definitely scoots when you need it to. Already seen people tuning this thing on Flex with 400 to the wheels. No idea how you'd ever get traction in something like that. The engine is already underrated from the factory since it's just a de-tuned Type R engine and some slight piston differences.

The HUD and all the features make it feel much more upscale like an Acura. I certainly enjoy it as a daily. Averages about 26-28 mpg in the city too while not in boost. Can't complain.
What you are saying sounds pretty good. I wonder how the 10 speed in the Accord is compared to the 10 speed in the Mustang. Minus the CVT crap, Honda knows how to put out a good tranny. Of course, these transmissions were built for different reasons.

What's impressive to me is the 10 speed 2.0T in the Accord has a factory 0-60 of like 5.5 seconds. That's Mustang Ecoboost territory. With some tuning and maybe a bigger turbo, you are looking at Mustang GT territory. It helps that the Accord isn't a fat pig like the GT though. Imagine if Ford could do what Chevy did with the Camaro. Drop several hundred pounds from one generation to another. It'd help handling, acceleration, and gas mileage...

The 10-speed is pretty amazing. It doesn't hunt for gears when driving normally and sport mode is really good. No jerking, no hesitations. I've heard the newer 2020+ Accords have even better software updates in regards to the power delivery. 2018 was the start of Honda getting back into the game that they once were so good at before. The 2.0T engine is one of those ones that will end up on the "best engines" list.

The Hondata/K-Tuner tunes they have are pretty nuts too. You'll light your front tires up bone stock. Throw in a down pipe, Type-R or bigger turbo, and new tires and you'll have a pretty quick sedan. Not even sure what the limits are but one of the Honda dealerships offered to throw a stage 2 tune on my car and hold onto my factory warranty as long as they did the tune.

The 2.0t comes pretty underrated from factory... they advertise 250 hp engine, and people are getting 250 whp or pretty damn close... minor bolts, type R turbo and E85, they are seeing very impressive whp, the little engine is nuts...

add that to the A10 and you'll have a decent daily sleeper

same with the little RS3, that car is the king of the hill on the little fast as fuck cars category.

I had a modded Forester XT for a number of years, gave it to my son-in-law about 5 years ago and it's still going strong. Those little 4 banger turbos in a decent chassis are a lot of fun and extremely practical. I could live with a Civic R if it didn't look like that.

Congrats on the type R. I like those a lot. I wish they made a sedan or coupe model tho.

One of the reasons I didn't Hondata tune my Accord is it would force me to move to 93 octane to really see the benefits. I've put nothing but 87 in it and it's been flawless for 20,500 miles now. I have the Mustang if I need a power craving.

Congrats that SGP looks great. I'm actually picking up a White CTR soon. Now I'll have an R from both sides of the world - the best of both worlds. See you on the forums on the other side??

After a few days of driving. I found it very refreshing when i went to the grocery store. Hatch is very spacious.
the car draws a lot of attention and people complimenting it. Co workers included.

Had a guy in a red gt350 rev his motor at me and gave me a thumbs up.
The gas mileage is amazing if course.

i have yet to encounter torque steer or understeer. LSD working like a boss.
Its very un fwd like. You just have to drive it. Off throttle oversteer is nice too through a fast turn.
now i just need to sell my sct x4 tuner
