I joined pcmtec, tried a few times to post a thread, after getting the āchoose crosswalksā and
āChoose motorcyclesā 4 or 5 times and getting annoyed I gave up.
Anyone on here able to give me some pointers? :( Iām getting so frustrated with this crap :(
Did you see my vid above? I just feel itās very strange to see it drop in acceleration and go to 14v + when I lift off every single timeā¦ā¦.is that normal?
Moisture would be very unlucky, itās done about 500 miles this last year and lives in a heated garage lol
Ok, Iām assuming this voltage fluctuation isnāt right? On the numerical screen I saw it as high as 14.5v off throttle and 12.5v on.
Idling went down to 12.3v
Yes the BCMs need programmed unfortunately and Iād have to pay for that!
Iāll check all connectors, all lamps are functioning and that code is gone:)
regarding that I for about pcm not uodating, I need to find out is that just a pcm problem
Or a sensor feeding it!?!
Thanks :)
Not checked the charging system.
Different tune was added, thatās one standard, one canned and one custom and still the same!
Modules were meant to be updated
Looking like Bcm/pcm, Fingers crossed itās not :(
Iāve not found very much Mustang specific for the U0401.82-08, lots of dealer did this and that etc but no specifics of what I could look fo, like I said, Iām on my own with this and think this time the car may have to go :(
I reset all the modules, including pcm and Bcm
nothing there that applies to me unfortunately, pin pint test for the initial code was done last year with no issues found, thanks though!
Itāthe U0401 code that is my main issue this time I think!
Hi,
I have a thread on here from last June where I had a P166A fault code, car died and wouldnāt start for 10 mins, then started and ran ok with the wrench symbol on the screen but no MIL..
In and out of Ford, couple of other mechanics and a couple of auto electricians later, no issues found...
No surprises there, main dealers (most) are utter robbing scumbags who are only interested in servicing hatchbacks for little old ladies they can rob.
Good Indy every time, cancel the plan and have your car looked after properly imo
Oh I know that feeling! Iāve spent so much, like you, fault finding with no success, going in on Monday to have the code deleted, Iāve had enough, I just want to use it. Everyone assures me there is no fault to be found, I donāt feel good about it, codes are there for a reason but, enough!
How posh, recycling in a Mustang
I fitted 10mm nylon spacers behind the ali pedal to lift it off the actual throttle pedal, wish Iād done it before!
