Lot's of options. Thanks @Fordever !
I assume it's ok to keep the battery in the car and hook up the tender to it?

That’s what I do. I have permanent wiring ran to my battery. I just feed to cable to the tender up in the engine from under the car, hook it up and plug it in. Put my car cover on and live in misery for 6 months.

Yeah , us being surrounded by salt water and then getting it spewed all over the roads for 4-5 months really doesn’t help a vehicle. :lipssealed:

Nope, just had the car Krown’d yesterday. Top has 303 on it. Winter rubber will go on in a couple weeks.

I used Rusk Check on all my winter vehicles. The stuff works great. But my new F150 has an aluminum body, so no need.

But no way is my car gonna see salt

My car goes in the garage at the first sign of snow and stays there until all the salt is off the streets. I use a Ctech battery tender.

Not yet :/ I’m a little scared but I’m going to push hibernation as long as I can.

What sort of battery tender do you guys recommend?
Look at the Ctek MXS 5.0 or even the older 3300 version. CTEK is the white label brand for Porsche, Ferrari, Benz, etc etc. and those manufacturers don’t recommend nor put there brand on just anything.

Now they make higher end units then what I listed but you don’t need to go wild unless you want to. I personally use the 3300 and I did hours of research before deciding on brand & model.

Well it looks like the time has finally come for my car. I’ve serviced, washed and waxed it. Here are some pics of my freshly waxed car parked in the heated garage at my work. At this point, I don’t have heat in my garage and I wanted to make sure the car was thoroughly dry before parking and covering for the winter.
I am just waiting for the rain to stop before I drive it home for the “final” time this year.

First measurable snow tonight, and I put her to bed. As long as it was sunny I did Top down drives into the upper 50's. The Audi windscreen really works well.
