You answered your own question. Ford states oil to be changed once annually, so even if it never turned a wheel, nearing the one year mark you get the message. If you look in the Ford app, if you’ve added it to your phone, you can check oil life and you’ll see it drop even if not being driven.

As much as I like the full on convertible experience, long high speed trips can be wearing, especially with cross winds. Having the ability to have virtually zero buffeting is nice, regardless of ambient temp.

Yes, mine always groaned a bit in the hinge points from new. I finally got tired of it and sprayed everything with a penetrating grease that I have. Got rid of the groans for the most part and I no longer have to pull the top down that last half inch or so, it comes right down to the header now.
