Is there a maintenance procedure to grease or lubricate the convertible latch? It seems like it’s a little hard to rotate it to/from the closed position. I can’t find anything online and I imagine it needs something silicone based perhaps?

Not that I am aware of, although I do have to pull down on mine rather firmly to get it to latch at times.

Twice a year I cleaned (rag w degreaser) all weather strips everywhere and lubed with silicon grease. Better to use the lubes from Benz, BMW etc since they are non greasy easier to clean.

Just gotta pull and twist. I think is has something to do with out of adjustment tension cables which I believe are accessible from upper truck bulkhead couple little plastic pieces with rotating screws semi like the adjustors.
