Where did you have you kit installed at and who tuned it? My local dealers don’t seem to know much about it. Since you got good results I would like to take mine where you took yours. Thank you.
Keep in mind that those results are "after running 93/94 octane fuel for several weeks" according to DaveFZR. Not to discredit his results but I feel this should be noted along the dyno sheet. You're not getting these results on straight pump 91.

It comes with a tune. Install the Cai, throttle body, and flash the tune. That's it. You can do it yourself or have anyone do it. If you want to retain your warranty, you'll need to go to a Ford dealer or an ASE certified mechanic.

Can you save your stock tune with Rousch?
I think you lose your stock tune for good, Roush is different, it pretty much overwrites and only the dealer can flash it supposedly?

That's bizarre. Most tuning devices back up your stock tune before loading the custom tune so you can revert back if ever needed.

Roush uses a pass through device and Roush software on a computer to do their tunes. It does not back up the stock tune apparently. Roush stuff lately is kinda dealer flashed only.

I knew it was required for their superchargers but was not aware of their methodology for a simple cai and tune option. Yet another reason I prefer custom tuning :)

Nope, not there yet.

There's also the Roush level 1 kit at similar pricing that seems worth a look FWIW.
No issue for

Here is his 91 octane run..5 less hp.

I have been running 93+ octane in the car once my delivery fuel (87octane...yuck) was finished.

Thanks for the info. I think its still worth it since one can keep their powertrain warranty until at least the 3/36.

Exactly the point...I may end up keeping this car just 3 years. We will see how it plays out.
