Yup - reason why I sent it back "P O S" - with ridiculous inept instructions for $199 I don't need or want to be aggravated by a POS plastic can that will be more then difficult to empty on top of all the other BS ...!!!šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

I would be interested to know why your experience is so different to mine then ? :like:

The instructions are for the Bullitt (same as Mach ?) and I followed them for my GT i.e. I am speaking from experience rather than just reading / posting up the simple instructions :like:

I wasn't meaning to be arrogant and apologise if you took it that way - I didn't mean to offend :frown:

I stand by my comments though, the unit I got was very easy to fit following the instructions I posted above :like:

I like the oem look and Ford Performance logo so I went with it but I'll let the dealer install it. Not quite trusting myself to do stuff around engine šŸ˜ Emptying doesn't bother me when dealer changes oil anyway, but I have suction kit for lawn mower so can do it myself too.

Too bad you didn't purchase the UPR option for the S550. A very nice system with a bracket that mounts the can next to the radiator on the passenger side. They also have a capture device for the drivers side valve cover. A very nice well designed and clean looking system.

So I bought this version and I can't figure out the ridiculous bracket the way it's configured WILL NOT fit where it's supposed to go and I can't find any good videos on install there all for the GT not the Bullitt or Mach 1 ...

In order to make this bracket work it looks like I will have to make some modifications, if anyone knows about this please help out thanks

I had the same issue with mine (bought from CJ). After discussing with Ford Performance directly, it looks like that they bent the bracket wrong (!!!). They sent me another one for free, and it just installed in a breeze. So it was just a manufacturing problem.

So maybe yours is from the same batch ?!

Yves.

Unhook to hose clips, undo some screws, youre done in 5min lol I'll take my personal experience on how long it takes to empty it over that of a guy that couldn't even install it.

As a person that is NOT mechanical or handy in any way I installed it in 15min and it takes me under 5min to empty it.

You either bought the wrong, part, were SENT the wrong part, or are just VERY inept.

This piece.... This piece right here. Fuck this. I broke it 3 different ways and super glued it back. I'm not putting it back in. It's pointless pretty much.

I broke that same stupid clip. It is unobtanium. The dealer couldnā€™t find the part number and suggested I order the entire engine wiring harness, hoping itā€™s on that.

someone find this part number!!!

I just left it unclipped. It serves no purpose. It doesn't even clip back on the same bolt in a clean fashion.

You could try using a cable tie with a mounting hole to mount it back on the bolt stud. Only thing I could think of that would work.
