I went with the Ford piece because of the road nazis out here in CA. The dealer stated his tech noticed "Ford didn't do that upgrade on any other car". Lol

Did you install the bracket that comes with it or did you leave it off like the JLT model?I went with the Ford piece because of the road nazis out here in CA. The dealer stated his tech noticed "Ford didn't do that upgrade on any other car". Lol
Can you post of a pic of it installed?Installed the bracket. Had to get the stud and nut replaced, because they were missing.
Mine is not hp so I do not know if this will be the same. Time to put the other one back on. I was going to put on the fp because it looks oem. this picture was with my other one obviously and not the fp.Do the fp ones install properly on a hp car I thought I read somewhere that the hp cars have a cooler that may be in the way ?
You don't need torque wrench at all. I have it and that plastic felt like it could crack with that 5 NM moment. TIghten by hand and don't over-tighten, it's easily felt.I bought the Ford perfoemance one and since I do not have a torque wrench
Ah ok. ty.You don't need torque wrench at all. I have it and that plastic felt like it could crack with that 5 NM moment. TIghten by hand and don't over-tighten, it's easily felt.
That’s the j&l with no bracket correct? If so that’s not for me lol I just do not think hanging by plastic lines is a good ideaMine is not hp so I do not know if this will be the same. Can you just show the metal mount attached without the rest of the seperator? Here is mine installed
i’d get about an oz out of my Ford unit per oil change. If a drivers side aftermarket unit is only collecting a few drops I’d wonder how well its actually working?Just to throw my hat in the ring, I bought the Steeda oil separator for my Mach 1 and love it! It comes with a truck load of connections for different size hoses if you wanna mount the can somewhere else. It even includes another OEM quick connect hard-plastic PCV hose so you can take off your original and use the one they give you to cut to length. The can also has a little filter in it that you can replace (not sure if that really helps per-se, but a feature nevertheless). I usually get maybe a drop of oil out of it at maximum every oil change.
Here's the link to the one I bought: https://www.steeda.com/steeda-black-billet-s550-mustang-oil-separator-2015-555-3716.html
I've also heard a lot of great things about the JLT oil separators and the Ford Performance one as well! However, I think whichever option you go with, you'll be happy with it!
