Well you get the parts delivered to your house in a big box, then you take said box to the dealership and give it to them so they can install.

Pretty simple :)
I thought you had to buy it from the local dealer or they wouldn't install it. I think I need to find a different local dealer.

That's up to the dealer itself. If they won't install parts for you that you bring in, well then this won't work.

But you also don't need it to be done at an actual dealership. Any ASE certified mechanic can install it and the warranty will work.

If they want to play that game then I'd negotiate some sort of a deal.

I'm interested in a group buy, as well. Although I'd rather wait for some actual numbers with it installed.

How does that process work? I have a buddy who is ASE certified but doesn't own a shop. Not that I can't slap on a TB and intake myself... is it just something that needs to be proved if a problem arises?

You just have to provide FP with a copy of the installation invoice from an ASE mechanic or shop. I also have an ASE certified buddy who just wrote me up an invoice from his shop and then I installed the stuff myself at home.

FP will not go as far as auditing who actually turned the wrench or pressed enter on the tune file, and frankly that's borderline impossible.

Pretty cool, Ford is - more or less - now selling a 479HP "non-Bullitt" GT (eh, granted there's that bit of warranty hit, through it sounds like you could buy coverage).

So that means, 479HP PP2. 479HP A10, 479HP convertibles.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a MY21 move to a 480-ish base on the GT, fill in the gap of the departing GT350 a little more.

I'm gonna pass on this, although every gas station in town has 91 or 93, if you drive around in rural parts a lot as I do it's not uncommon to find a gas station that only has 87. But for those who aren't concerned by that, this is a good deal.

That's pretty much how it happens every year. They make the Bullitt, then 1-2yrs later offer the parts from Ford Racing, then a little later its the standard power or a little under the standard power.

Mach1 was 305/310HP then in '05 GT was 300. Shelby GT was 319, 08-09 BULLITT was 315HP, then in 2010 the GT was 315. 2012-13 BOSS were 444hp, 2015 GT was bumped to 435.

Every special version is only a bump for 1-2yrs then its just even power.

I might have been interested in this if it were tune-only, but I guess there just isn't that much slack in the stock tuning for the Gen 3 Coyote. On my 2011 GT automatic, the FRPP tune gave it more response.

Need to see how someone actually reviews this and dyno it for real. I am thinking back at when driving a Scat Pack and a Mustang side by side, My butt dyno in a 392 Hemi felt like more low end tq on the get go at a stop light vs the 5.0. with the 40+ increase in tq at 2K would make it get go more at a stop light?

My dealer told me as long as it's a Ford product installed by a Ford dealer designed for your particular vehicle, you have nothing to worry about. Just don't run sketchy 91 octane and accept that at some point someone in the gas station may have dumped 87 in the 91 tanks.
no more likely than getting diesel in a tank.

When the power pack 2 for the 15-17's first came out it was 850 retail, you can get them for about 7 bills new now. Give it time, the price will come down. Maybe ford wants you to spend all of your stimulus money with them.
