Way I read that one was it was for three filters for $385 and I believe someone did pony up for that price. Think that is what inspired him to go for $200 for one.
you're right, wasn't buying so I didn't even read the description. shows a picture of 3 but the price is for 1, what a dick.

The ones I had, I didn't make a dime on. Some people just suck.

I hope most members know that filters can be had from dealerships in Canada. Can't imagine it would be $300 eBay gouging to get one sent down.

Are you saying that the Canadian Ford dealers actually have the filters and are willing to mail order them?

I was back in the GTA a few weeks ago visiting family and Dixie Ford in Mississauga had 20 in stock at the time. I purchased two of them.

After I posted in this thread someone apparently contacted them and the dealership indicated that they would not ship to the USA.

But yes it appears that stock is not an issue in Canada.

I think next time you’re there you need to buy as many as they will sell to you.

That does it. I'm selling our GT500 which has a brand new FL2087 filter installed. $250,000 and the car and filter is yours (Yes, the filter can be removed and transplanted into any 20+ GT500 or GT350). $300,000 and I will throw in one additional FL2087 with a filter housing. Buyer pays shipping expenses. Cash only. No low ballers, I know what I have.

Yeah I mean they would have sold me all twenty but the two I purchased will get me through the year. I usually change my oil once in June/July after the spring and early summer track sessions, and then again in October after the late summer and autumn track sessions.

By next year hopefully the stock situation will improve in the USA. Although I have had a script monitoring stock levels on RockAuto (it is instantaneous, unlike the "notify me" feature that the website uses) and I've only received one ping since January. I bought that one but then a few days later they cancelled my order saying they had an inventory error. So who knows.

I think the implication is you could buy a bunch and then help out your southern brethren :)

I had my oil changed last week, brought my filter with me...turned out the dealer had one and didn't use mine...Im thinking that dealers may be holding onto the filters they have for customers that have oil changes done there...
