Way I read that one was it was for three filters for $385 and I believe someone did pony up for that price. Think that is what inspired him to go for $200 for one.He had the same listing up a few days ago for $385. Glad no one bit.
you're right, wasn't buying so I didn't even read the description. shows a picture of 3 but the price is for 1, what a dick.Way I read that one was it was for three filters for $385 and I believe someone did pony up for that price. Think that is what inspired him to go for $200 for one.
The ones I had, I didn't make a dime on. Some people just suck.you're right, wasn't buying so I didn't even read the description. shows a picture of 3 but the price is for 1, what a dick.
I was back in the GTA a few weeks ago visiting family and Dixie Ford in Mississauga had 20 in stock at the time. I purchased two of them. Are you saying that the Canadian Ford dealers actually have the filters and are willing to mail order them?
I think next time you’re there you need to buy as many as they will sell to you.I was back in the GTA a few weeks ago visiting family and Dixie Ford in Mississauga had 20 in stock at the time. I purchased two of them.
After I posted in this thread someone apparently contacted them and the dealership indicated that they would not ship to the USA.
But yes it appears that stock is not an issue in Canada.
I rechecked and you are right, filters are in stock but the dealer would not ship them. Sorry for the half right lead. Are you saying that the Canadian Ford dealers actually have the filters and are willing to mail order them?
We should all open bogus ebay accounts and take turns tying up his sale.
Yeah I mean they would have sold me all twenty but the two I purchased will get me through the year. I usually change my oil once in June/July after the spring and early summer track sessions, and then again in October after the late summer and autumn track sessions.I think next time you’re there you need to buy as many as they will sell to you.
I think the implication is you could buy a bunch and then help out your southern brethrenYeah I mean they would have sold me all twenty but the two I purchased will get me through the year. By next year hopefully the stock situation will improve in the USA. Although I have had a script monitoring stock levels on RockAuto (it is instantaneous, unlike the "notify me" feature that the website uses) and I've only received one ping since January. I bought that one but then a few days later they cancelled my order saying they had an inventory error. So who knows.
