Mine is still at the dealership. First they found one cracked AC line, then a second cracked AC line, and then confirmed that the compressor is whining so the are going to replace that too. They also replaced a transmission cooler line seal because it was leaking. Hopefully I can get it back in...

And they confirmed that the PremiumCare ESP doesn't cover the transmission cooler line seal. Which is odd. I was mistaken before when I said that "transmission coolers" are excluded. That does not apply to PremiumCare. So I have no idea why they aren't covering that leak. Unless they consider it...

Welp.....I knew this was going to turn into a saga. They replaced the cracked AC line, pulled vacuum, and then another line coming out of the compressor failed after 10 mins.......

Interesting development so far. The cracked high pressure AC hose was covered by PremiumCare without issue. The tech is going to replace it, fill the system, and then run the AC to evaluate my compressor whine. That will probably need to be replaced too. But, PremiumCare is pushing back on...

Buy some sweet Gorilla nuts and call it a day. I love my Gorilla nuts; so hefty.

Check post #54 in this thread. And there is no TSB for this, nor for the crappy compressor or evap core.

Just heard back from the dealership. My AC HP hose cracked in the same place.

:giggle: I did change the tranny fluid about 10k miles ago. And it hasn't been leaking for that whole time. So I'm leaning toward the transmission cooler fitting. Plus that sits higher anyway and the area up top has tranny fluid residue.

Welp.....tomorrow my GT350 is going in to the dealership. First time in 7 years. Wish me (and my car) luck please :frown:

Hmmm yes looks quite similar. Between this and my AC being out (as well as the rear view camera recall I was hit with) I'm finally taking it to the dealership next week. Might as well use my ESP.

Thanks! I went underneath the car earlier and it looks like the rear-most transmission cooler line fitting is leaking. See the pictures above. My AC has been dead for a year now so I think I am finally going to have to take this thing to the dealership and make use of my PremiumCare ESP.

I'll try to get the car up on my lift this weekend to have a look. I haven't tracked the car in over a year but it has been quite hot here in general.

I noticed some drips on my garage floor. Had a quick peek and it looks like I have transmission fluid leaking from somewhere (based on the red fluid on the bolts). Anyone have a similar issue before?

Which dealership are you taking the car to? Are they good? I'm in the DMV and my AC failed last summer but I'm terrified of letting dealer techs work on it.
