If the Only proper race gear you are wearing at a track day is the gloves then the fire retardant property is of little benefit to you. If you crash and the car catches fire while you are still strapped in it, then even in full FIA fire retardant race kit from head to toe you have less than 30 secs max to get out with only minor burns, if you are lucky.
And ICU812 while I admire the sentiment please donāt do that in just fire retardant gloves and a jacket, even if you are wearing a full race suit, with balaclava and helmet still on you would need to exercise extreme caution. Fire takes no prisoners.
