Wish I had the dash cam that I ordered yesterday. Was driving to my son’s basketball game on a fairly open highway. Saw a Challenger come up behind me then got in the lane next to me. Had the demon badge. Must’ve been on summer tires because he decided he was going to show off and his tires ended up breaking loose and did a 180 in the middle of the highway. Luckily he didn’t hit anyone or anything but that would’ve been a great video to have.

Luckily it was just me in the car, the basketball team takes a bus to the games, so if something did happen it would’ve been just me. Temps were only in the upper 30’s, assuming he was on summer tires they had to be like hockey pucks. And all seasons aren’t going to stand a chance with the HP/torque the demon puts out. Haven’t seen anything that wild in a while, good reminder not to be stupid.

The Fitcamx doesn't work on non-rainsensor models. I'm still looking for a dash cam that integrates cleanly. All the others I've seen look less than ideal to me.

Pulled out in traffic yesterday, bad sight line, oncoming too close, nailed it before the wheel was straight, back end stepped out oh so quick! The oncoming car must have had a great view. Not too sure about this Torsen limited slip?

Yeah it’ll get squirrelly on you quick. One of the reasons I dislike my winter tires on dry pavement in temps over 40F (like today). They’re easy to break loose, almost too easy.

Anyone install a dash cam on their car? Recommendations on what to get would be great.

I recently picked up a REDTIGER. Front and rear, 4k, Wi-Fi, GPS camera. It's AWESOME. Not a single complaint. Love it. Read license plates front and rear at night, extremely clear.

Best dash cam solution for us 2015-2017 base models? I want something that runs off a tap in the car so I don’t have to worry about a , is small enough so it can be behind mirror or something and be out of way, and I only really need front.

I have a VIOFO A129 Pro Duo that's been in a box for over a year that I have not installed yet. If I can tap that into the mirror that would be great but the instructions call for it to wire into the fuse box on the driver's side.

I run the 4k A229 with back camera too, love it. I spent a lot of time looking at comparison videos between it, and the Blackvue. To me it is better in most situations.

A Dash cam is a necessity, spend the money its worth it.

I was looking at those options just last weekend. None of the ones I saw online had good resolution for identifying license plates. How well does your work?
