That's going to limit you to the 2015-2017 cars, unless you can find a PP1 car from 2018-2020 without digital guages. Apologies if I got the years wrong...I believe they quit making PP1 cars in 2020???
Also, the PP1 cars have extremely rough suspension. Beware.
More like a blow hard keyboard warrior who loves to tell strangers on a car forum what they should think, feel, and believe. Definitely small dick energy.
The onus is on the buyer to not blindly trust a 2nd hand dealer and verify everything. And also for not being properly educated on spotting the difference of HP and non-HP. A simple peak umder the hood to verify factory camber plates is all that was required. And shame on him for not checking...
HP guys that refer to non-HP cars as "base" M1s are elitist posers dont know the difference. We could have a whole other discussion about owning a HP and not tracking it, but let's not derail the tread further...
Back to the discussion at hand, I do feel like some responsibility has to be in...
Good discussion. I'm certainly not blaming the instructor for my experience, but it definitely got me off on the wrong foot. He wasn't familiar with my car and was driving a Honda that probably weighed a thousand pounds less. He was also barking at me and grabbing the wheel which I didn't take...
Like I said "unique chassis tuning" simply refers to the alignment due to the wider wheels. It literally says standard magnaride for both M1s. There is nothing about ecu programing anywhere in that list. It's a debunked assumption that's been confirmed by Ford. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN...
Then please post, because that would be a first. This has been debated to death in other threads. There is no different ECU tuning. It's just springs, sway bar, and camber plates. That's it.
No it doesn't. It says "chassis tuning", which simply refers to the alignment due to the wider wheels. It's been confirmed by Ford there is no difference in magnaride.
I didn't know Canadians pay interest for lying. Lol
In all seriousness, I doubt the dealer did it maliciously. They probably took it on trade and just assumed or were ignorant to the trim levels. You'd be surprised how many sales people don't know shit about the product they sell.
Well, I completed my first and probably last track day.
The first session was really intense and intimidating for a newbie. My instructor was nice, but I felt he was pushing me way past my comfort zone right off the bat. So much so that I sat out the next two sessions and pretty much tapped out...
