no. after talking with my tuner and him talking to another tuner, who’s big in the coyote scene, it was confirmed that ford Motorsport crank gear is standard equipment on 18&up

I’m sure a billet one is stronger than the factory forged piece. That being said I won’t be stressing out on the crank gear every time I make a pull the way I would have with the factory opg’s.

Got the fuel system finished up today and now I’m just waiting for a tune. I ended up building my own harness which was a little bit of a hassle, but it’s done now. Probably the hardest part was modifying the stock rail. Drilling into tubing is challenging enough, but then I decided to silver solder it which I had never done before, but managed to figure it out. It doesn’t look pretty, but there’s no leaks.

Yeah kind of. I think my oil pan gasket may be leaking and I’ve got a cam actuator code that I’m a little concerned about.

Think I solved my cam code issue. Found the exhaust cam Solenoid unplugged on bank 1. Just waiting on a base file so I can start it

Got a base tune in the car, and I’m driving it. My tuner says it’s good and I can get on it a little bit. We are supposed to strap to the Dyno on Wednesday. I did a little 4th gear hit and my god! It got pretty sideways. Awesome!

Heck yeah. Got a specific goal at the drag strip in mind?
I haven’t been to the strip in a long time. For now I just want to have it running good on the street, but eventually I would like to be some where in the mid to low 9’s
