i tried to copy and paste but it didn't work the best but they have the fix. I don't recc calling the dealer and demanding to have it performed just say you have the lack off cooling concern and your are aware they have an updated TSB that just came out.

Not familiar with how the system works but wouldn't replacing the motor just cause the same issue or is this a different system design?

Some 2015-2016 Mustang vehicles equipped with climate controlled seats may exhibit a lack of cooling performance from the front seat backrests.
Just in time for winter.

"Some... may..."

Which is greater, the percentage of 2015 Mustangs with objectively functional seat back cooling or the percentage of NFL cheerleaders who would date me?

This new unit has a snorkel from the intake fan running to under the seat so it can draw cool air in, rather than pulling in the air inside the seatback.

If this is similar to the F150 fix, people on the F150 site said it improved but barely. Still room for improvement according to what I read.

Nice update. Little quicker than I was expecting to.

My service manager says they can't do the TSB work because their prior diagnosis was that it was within spec.

I am about to file a class action suit over this unnecessary crap. Ford needs to cut the BS "Some... may..." and tell the dealers to fix the damn things as a recall.

Its amazing how people point the finger at the manufacturer constantly when they are having a issue with the dealer. I cant speak for the diagnosis that was done on your car but if your not happy with what the service manager told you then call another dealer that will make you happy. The factory identified an issue and came up with a solution and i posted it to help you guys. Then here come the whiny bitches who scream im filing a class action suit.. unreal. the fact that the ford customer service rep is even a member here to help the mustang community out speak VOLUME in my opinion. I guess some don't see it that way and all you wanna do is piss and moan. Grow up people. or Trade you car in for a honda civic and go cut some grass..

And I have asked my service rep to intervene with the dealer.

The problem here is Ford won't admit to this being an across-the-board design defect. The "Some... may..." language is fraudulently misleading.

We suffer tangible damage by having to now deal with the dealer to get a diagnosis.

You raise another point, that the dealers may have a claim against Ford for interfering in their relationships with their customers. There is probably a lot of contract law and franchise law involved in that.

Finally, a TSB! I'll probably call in right away so they can order the parts if they don't have em already.
