I don't know what this guy is expecting. The fact that he didn't burn one teaspoon of oil in 1000 miles is a good thing. If it was filled would he have happy???. I think most people on here consider the dual can option a waste. Passenger side is all you really need. Black Friday sale got me a UPR for $189 shipped. All oil from the can will be recycled.

After about 1750 miles(6 months) I had about 2oz in my catch can.

To me keeping ANY oil from the intake is a good thing no matter how little it is.

Yeah, they do. A N/A car driven on the street flooring it on on-ramps, in straight lines and taking corners at 6/10ths is not going to experience much if any blow-by.

The same N/A car with sticky rubber taking corners on a circuit at 9/10ths on a track day will experience blow-by.

A boosted car pressurises the sump and increases the chance of blow-by significantly regardless of where you are driving.

Sorry about that. The double post is on me. My intention was to edit my original post but I was in a rush on my phone. I will fix the error shortly.

As for why I always try to leave a comment on rev's stuff:
We all worked hard for our cars, but rev's videos speak to me a bit more than most.
Many of the youtube commentators do not appear as regular guys. They try, but it still comes across a bit "made man (woman) shows off their toy". I will continue to show support for all bullitt owners (and mustang fam), but rev's videos come off a bit more "9 to 5 worker got their dream car". As such, I will always make extra effort to support him.

He has been doing same stuff since his GTI days couple cars back. The white stang vids underwhelming at best and now he thinks he’s cooler with a Bullitt. Whatever...he is still a boob.

Intake buildup. Ever seen the inside of a intake manifold after 30-50K miles? Go take a look at the inside of a 96-04 32v 2pc manifold.

We want to prevent THIS carbon buildup that a catch can helps prevent:

Errrr, you spent $40-$50k on a performance car and have an issue with spending $120 on a catch can......

On a serious note, a catch can is always a good idea, N/A, boosted, high or low performance. Ford thought it was bad enough that they spent money and added injectors, that should be a good indicator right there, and although they added injectors, it’s really not enough. Do you really want to take the chance of oil build-up on the back of your valves or even worse some of that oil getting into the combustion chamber?

Catch cans really do work. The one on my Fiesta catches a lot. Be thankful if yours doesn't catch much. It means your engine has good ring seal.

I stumbled across this video. She is better looking than me so it will be nice for the eye.
Bear_Stang - thanks for the support!
Zinc03svt - everyone is enttitled to their opinions. I am just trying to record my hobby, you dont have to watch it if you dont like it.
Kent0464 and Hack - if there is that much oil blow by you might have a bigger issue with your engine.
Schwerin - 96-04 32v....thats 2 decades old.

Anyway here is the video. Looks like 3k track miles on ZL1 1LE. Make your own conclusions.

Being 20yrs old doesn't mean it doesnt still apply. Nothing has changed with PVC systems. Where do you think the oil that gets sucked through goes? Into your take and onto the back of your valves. Where heat cooks it. Having a dual fuel system helps with the valves but does 0 for the intake.
