Has anyone ever had a car that generated so much brake dust? I mean it covers the whole side of the car in fine black dust.

Does the base 350 also have this issue?

I take my car out, its spotless before the drive, then after about 30-40 minutes of driving when I get home the dust is every where.

None on my regular GT350. You sure it isn't that pixie dust they keep talking about being on those Rs?

My non R has more dust than any car I've ever owned. The last time I washed her about a week ago, the dust left a stain on the driveway.. That said, I drive her like she's supposed to be driven!

My white GT350 is covered in a fine layer of brake dust. So much so I'm considering adding the Adam's polishes iron wash first when washing the car.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I pity anyone who doesn’t maintain a black wheel on this car.

I tried a wheel protectant that is supposed to keep it cleaner (forget which brand) but it didn't last long. Pretty much a losing battle. Yeah I couldn't imagine a wheel color other than black.

I've never had it so bad that covered parts of the car. I had AG before my Ruby Red and neither showed it at least. Unfortunate part of owning cars like this. My M cars were pretty bad as well.

Mine is lightening blue and luckily it hides the dust pretty well. Just makes the paint look dull until i get it off. It must be a nightmare for a white R. I just wanted to see if others noticed it as well. I know i had other cars that generated brake dust but I don’t remember it covering the side and back of the car lol.

I've had cars with track brakes on them. Those are bad enough that this car seems fine.

Same...I changed over to street pads and it's not as bad...some of that is also dirt.

Since I think not everyone always gets this, the R and non-R brakes & brake pads are all the same.

I’ve got a guy at EBC. They are coming out with Red pads for our car. Currently working with them on availability and putting together a group buy or something cool. Stay tuned. I’ve had Red Pads on two other cars; literally can almost label them as zero dust.

I ran GS-1s on mine before I dedicated it to track use. Almost zero dust. I have a used set up for sale if you want to go that route and save a couple hundred bucks.
