I kept my wheels on so that way i was able to spray the calipers as well, most of it anyways.
Bolted on. If you have means to remove the wheels easily I would do that as it will make applying it to the barrel much easier. As I stated above I plan to add 2 or 3 thin coats the next time vs. 1 liberal coating. As it will leave white marks if it runs. If that happens just while lightly with a microfiber and they come right off and it doesn't affect the products performance. If you want to spray the calipers then walk over and spray them whIle the wheels off. It would make it easier to apply to them with the wheels off as well.

Awesome thanks guys gonna try it next time I wash the car. Picked up 2 cans at Target.

So I tried this stuff out. I would say it worked well but it's a trial and error type of product. I did drive 35 miles of HARD aggressive city driving and when I made it back home I had a cloud of brake dust on the wheels as opposed to the usual thick layer of brake dust on the wheels. So yes it does work. I did see brake dust clumped up on the inside of the barrels but the spokes/outside wheels looked good enough for me to continue use. Now the process of using the product was taxing. I washed the car on Friday 4pm. Left the wheels/barrels spotless. Sprayed the product in a mist like style making sure to get every part of the wheels. Product goes on wet. Let it dry for 2hrs and came back to check how it looked. Few streaks of product running down the spokes on all wheels. Enough to say "I won't drive with my wheels looking like this" so I let it sit in my garage till Sunday morning. Took a clean white t shirt and sprayed the product lightly on the t shirt and allowed it to almost dry but not fully...just damp enough to allow me to wipe the streaks away yet trying my best not to remove the product. Next time I think I will not spray so closely or either use a bit less product? Maybe less is more? I feel the longer the product sits on the wheels before driving the better it works. Either way def worth the $10.

After week of regular driving and a track day where normally the wheels would end up a matte black, they still had some shine to them. No enough that I didn't feel a need to wash them, but much better.

I'd recommend it for anyone who isn't beating the tar out of the car; you'll go at least twice as long between washes, if not more. If you are expecting them to stay looking like a fresh wash a week later, don't get your hopes up.

This stuf works for me. Just spray it on and let it settle. If there is any runs or residue just leave it overnight drying. Lightly wipe it off in the am. I've driven a few hundred miles and been through a touch less car wash and it's still holding up. Very light brake dust on the area I sprayed. You can tell the area in the inner barrel where the product wasn't sprayed since it's a layer of orange brake dust lol.

Has anyone who has cquartz'ed their wheels used this product? Just curious if Cquartz alone is adequate of if it would be best used in combination with this product

My wheels and calipers where coated with opticoat 2.0 when the car had 80 miles.

I can tell you that CQuartz alone is not enough. I took my wheels off the car and applied two coats of CQuartz to each of them. I can't tell that it made any difference in the brake dust at all. I have some of the Armor All product, but I haven't tried it yet. When I do, I'll definitely report back.

My Opticoated wheels and calipers still collected insane amounts of dust that made zero difference.

very happy with products, this stuff really works. It's been on my wheels for 3'weeks now, and can barely see any brake dust.

I don't know how it will hold when i wash my wheels though. Will report back when i do.

Should need to reapply if you use any cleaner.

This product lasted about a month and I only had to clean a a couple of spots off the wheels here and there. Works for me. If only something would keep the dust off the side of the car lol.

the worst part is spending 1 hour getting wheels perfectly clean then taking a short drive while the rotors are wet and u see a streak of dust in the inside dish

I honestly don't mind cleaning the wheels, if you just stay up on it it's not that bad. But if that Armour All stuff works I'm in. I've just see post and videos of it either work great or works but leaves the wheels with a cloudy mess?
