The 500 doesn't have any more grip and less in some cases due to weight/power etc. Yes the R has roughly the same amount of grip to a regular ZL1 but not a ZLE. Edit: FWIW, if I ever went back to a Ford Mustang, I'd get a GT350R every time over a GT500 CFTP.

Nobody knows but Ford, hence all of the secrecy from them about it. A good friend of mine is a Ford mechanic and does all of my work/mods, even on my old BMWs and will on my ZL1. He did my GT350 replacement engine install, which incidentally is how we got to be friends. This is back quite awhile...

Glad you have a lucrative business. You also know then it takes a lot of upgrades, especially suspension/cooling wise to get an S550 up to par with a Gen 6 SS and especially the 1LE Camaros.

I had two GT350s and loved them when they worked (engine replacement not even being close to the only issue by the way). I did to my GT350 and I know a lot of other ones did to there's in that forum also. They even (shocking) added camber plates etc. I'm with you and I don't get the constant alignment talk. Mostly drag racers here in the GT500 forum?
