So far my 2019 doesn't really have the same tick as my 2018, but I do here some crackling noises here and there along walls of drive through, definitely no tick though like the 2018, time will tell if it develops fully. Car is staying stock until at least until the spring, still paying for a roush xpipe and axleback I no longer have, not making that mistake again.

Considering this forum is a good spread of people around the country, I would have to say that when you have almost 1/2 of the people currently with a tick, makes it a little more common than 2015-2017 GT's.
Well Im not sure that we could base it on that because a lot of people visit a forum after they have a problem such as this so several answers could be from people such as those

You know, I would definitely agree.... if it wasn't for the fact that I took my car in for this issue, and they started up all 4 GT's they had in the lot, and 2 of them already had a tick on the lot, and the other 2?... well, I'm guessing they would probably get a tick someday too. I'm almost starting to think this is an inherent geometry of the piston design. Only thing that seems to shut it up is a really good additive like Tribotex, Ceratec, or Archoil.

My 18' is at the dealer with the engine being torn it to for the BBQ tick right now. Hope to have some feedback in a couple weeks from the service manager/advisor. Really would like to find the root cause for it along with many others on here.

Not yet. How is it that no one has figured out the cause?
