  1. Highway Camber Settings?

Update: I had it realigned over week ago, and wanted to drive a bit before updating this thread. I went ahead and had him adjust the front and rear both to -1.2 degrees for daily driving. The toe is slightly less than 0.1, so it's in spec. I can visually tell the camber is less in the rear than...
  2. Highway Camber Settings?

I already have camber plates up front. That's how they adjusted it. Toe was set to 0.1, which should be fine, so I'm not sure why that would be the issue. They set the rear camber using the slotted factory hole. I'm wondering if the arm slipped a little in the rear, so I installed a set of...
  3. Highway Camber Settings?

This was done a couple years ago. At the time, the toe seemed just fine. Unless it got knocked out somehow, and wore the inside tread down really bad.
  4. Highway Camber Settings?

After having fun for the last several years, I decided to set the camber of my 2018 GT for more of a daily highway driver, with hopes to maximize tire life. I had it set -1.2 front, and -1.5 rear, but after 30k the inside tread is gone, with plenty left on the outside. Anyway, I have front...
  5. Ceratec question

I add about 50ml to every oil change for all my cars. Smooths out the engine real nice, and in the Mustang, it quiets the Tick.
  6. Redline differential oil?

I have a quick question. As I go on Redlines website, and ask for fluids for 2018 Mustang GT 5.0L with LSD, it gives me 75w85 GL-5 diff oil as their recommendation. Yet, when I go on various websites, like Lethal Performance and others, they readily list Redlines 75w90 GL-5 as what they sell for...
  7. Windshield Edge Moulding?

That's kind of what I figured. I was just curious if there was an approved moulding that could be used. If not, then I'll have to figure out a way to remove some small amounts of glue that are visible.
  8. Windshield Edge Moulding?

After getting my windshield replaced, I noticed in some spots, the glue is a bit noticeable. Then, it dawned on me. My windshield has no edge moulding and never did. is there a specific roll of rubber edging I can get to fill the gap all the way around the mustang windshield that doesn't look...
  9. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

OK. I read an article saying it was a 7.3L, but if it's just a manifold, then that makes sense too.
  10. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

Apparently, this GT350 has a 7.3L Alloy Block prototype with a manual transmission. The bulge on the hood is most likely to cover all the testing equipment attached to the engine. It would be fantastic if they came up with a conversion kit for the 2018+ S550, using the same aluminum block engine.
  11. BBQ tick - another attempt to understand

4 years and 45,000mi on my 2018. Tick started at first oil change, and hasn't changed since. I'm at the point I'm simply not worried about it. After seeing dozens of guys getting new blocks with absolutely no change, it's obvious the noise is inherent in the design for some reason. No reason to...
  12. BBQ tick - another attempt to understand

As I said in the other thread, You'll find it's oil pressure related. It tends to vanish around 30psi.
  13. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

Yes, it happens consistently at low RPM. I think you'll find the tick tends to magically vanish when oil pressure reaches about 30psi.
  14. Install PP Gauges on Non-PP Model - Recap

It's laminated with epoxy, and cut along the edge of the metal, not wrapped around.
  15. Install PP Gauges on Non-PP Model - Recap

No, I sanded off the silver/grayish vinyl dip pattern they put over the top. The metal stayed. I sanded the metal and laminated the CF over the metal skin.
  16. Install PP Gauges on Non-PP Model - Recap

I converted mine. I felt it would not only be a good challenge, but a better way to accomplish the end goal. Took a bit of handy work though. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/skinning-a-horse-pp-gauge-upgrade.123559/
  17. Atlas Force UHP Tires

I texted this pic to a friend of mine who used to do tires. He said it looks like a defect. Sometimes it could be caused by something sharp on the road, but in this case probably a defect. I've got over 25k on mine, and always make sure the pressure is around 32-35psi, and so far no issues. Wear...

High Boron is probably the main reason why Ceratec additives work as well as they do. I find I never need a whole bottle. Just add about 50-100ml for the full 10qt oil change is about all it needs to subdue the tick.
  19. Do Koni Shocks tend to Squeak when new?

UPDATE: Well, after a couple months of daily driving, it almost seems like everything has smoothed out a bit, settled to everything pretty level, and no more squeaking. the squeaking was pretty noticeable when hitting heavy bumps on the way to work, but now when I hit the same bumps, no more...
