I need to buy a battery minder/charger for my Mustang GT. Stupid cold weather and salt/snow is not allowing me to drive it as much as I’d like so my battery is getting weak in between starts.

I would like a battery minder/charger that comes with a quick-connect/disconnect set of O-ring adaptors that allow me to keep the two wires connected to the battery but allow me to easily/quickly disconnect it when I go to drive the car.
I’m partial to NOCO and Battery Tender brands but their websites do not indicate which of their devices have a quick-connector for the battery leads. Anyone know?

I'm nearly sure both brands have the ability but you may have to buy extra accessories.
Really, it doesn't matter that much though. The connectors are inexpensive and readily available on Amazon. If the one you want doesn't come configured the way you want just make your own quick connection pigtail.
I'm getting ready to buy one for a car that sits for 2-3 months at a time. I'm going to make a pigtail that reaches the grill so I don't have to open the hood to connect or disconnect it.

battery tender jr is great, been using it for like 10 years, on wall, I used to use single chargers, but I have a 4 bank, that way I can charge anything anytime.

When I bought my Battery Tender Junior it came with quick disconnect and alligator clips. The newer versions look like it’s a Y cable split.

I recommend Battery Minder here are two of mine, the first one is for a flooded Cell non AGM battery and the second photo is for AGM batteries.

I ended up contacting Battery Tender’s support line. They were very helpful. The 3- and 4-amp versions definitely have the quick connector per the support team member. I ordered the 4 amp version just now on Amazon.

My battery is from 2021 and still going. I plug into a Tender / Charger every day. My car is not a daily so it's needed.

I have ring terminals bolted to the battery and use the quick disconnect.

You don’t want the battery charger connected directly to the battery. That play havoc with the Bms ( battery management system)
Connect the ground directly to chassis and the positive to 1 of the positive posts under the fuse box cover
See pictures below
Btw, just to be safe, fuse the positive lead

I have the noco one and it comes with a quick disconnect that I leave tucked in the engine bay when done. They sell those separately, so I bought a few that I leave attached to all my cars and my riding mower and use the single charging unit to quickly switch between all of them as needed.

I use the PulseTech battery maintainer / reconditioner. It has been fantastic at restoring / desulfating the battery. It utilizes an in-line standard SAE-2 connector, comes with a matching pigtail for permanent installation on the vehicle, and general purpose terminal clips.

+1
I put pigtails on all my vehicles that don't get used every day. I have expanded to having 3 PulseTech chargers and move them around between the vehicles as needed.

I did not realize a lead acid battery would even have a BMS. I’ve got a lithium battery for my bass boat and it has one built into the battery itself. Are you referring to a BMS on the vehicle itself?

I’m confused because the Battery Tender support staff never mentioned doing this and he knew it was a 2023 Ford Mustang as he asked me.
