if you're asking, you obviously want an automatic.

Are you flipping kidding me there are a thousand of theses threads already
It looks to me like the OP is new to the site. You could include a link to said thousand threads or give direction on how to search for them. Remember, what's old to you is new to someone else - which is why we repeat history over and over and over.

I have driven a stick at work for over 5 years and def prefer having a manual even in traffic it was jus the clutch blowing up that worried me but it sounds like they may just be crappy drivers or very unlucky.

From reading Mustang6g....

If you get an automatic, you don't have a real Mustang. You're merely steering and you have a girl's transmission.

If you get the 6-speed manual, you have a junky MT82 that clunks and will inevitably fail.

Pick your poison. ;)

The clutch blowing up? Unless you hear about a recall or something, you're going to get a good product. There are always lemons, which you'll hear about, and there are always abusers, which you'll hear about. But the majority of owners are happy as can be, which you usually won't hear about.

The same people that complain are the ones who complain about threads being necro'd. Then these people complain if you don't search and so on.

Some times, I think they'd prefer an empty forum.

Its also called being a forum newbie. I have literally never used a forum until two days ago because i normally just google search stuff and end up getting useless information. I only asked on this thread because ive got a few people regularly writing back and wanted their opinion.

I'm actually surprised this hasn't escalated further. I haven't seen the usual manual haters chime in yet, until then....

Test drive both. I lean more towards manual BC it's more fun to daily. Also it's like having another theft deterrent as most people cannot drive a manual.
