Welp, it is 150 foot pounds. color me surprised .
That is a lot to ask from a 14mmx1.5 stud.
I wonder how many cycles before they snap. or are at risk of it.

It's not a straight diameter ratio.

150-ish ft*lbs is consistent with the values given in fastener torque charts for 14mm Grade 10.9.

Yeah, picked up my car today and the lock nuts were sitting in a bag in the trunk. Never got installed. Dealer Rep looked at me sheepishly and said whoops.

I found mine under my trunk liner, with the spare tire. I gave them away though.

oh crap. Thanks to this thread I just realized I do not remember receiving a key for locking nuts whatsoever. Gotta call them on Monday.

The key and the nuts are probably in a bag in your trunk.thats where mine were

You will be putting aftermarket wheels on soon, so you will not be using those Ford lock nuts

Yes, ok. but
I have had vehicles that the 14x1.5mm studs snapped before getting to 75 ft lb.
1984 g body Cutlass, 3rd gen Firebird, Ford Fairmont, although , I am not sure if the Fairmont are 14x1.5.

Near as I can tell, those cars used M12x1.5. A little smaller than 1/2"-20.
