I am moving along nicely!

• Bulkhead is mounted
• WMI line is run
• power lines are run
• Solenoid is mounted
• Solenoid control wires are run
• Pump is mounted
• Pressure sensor is mounted
• Flow meter is mounted
• Pump is mounted
• Tank bracket is mounted
• Mustang GT support for the Syvecs WMI module is complete.

Remaining items:

• Run CAN bus lines (annoying)
• Attach nozzles/injection plate
• Connect solenoid to control wires (annoying)
• Connect all wires to the controller in the trunk (power signal, control)
  • Still need to source a trigger.
• Tune it up!

The project is nearing completion, then the real test comes seeing how well it works. It feels like its been forever but there are just so many little pieces to making this look nice and work reliably.

Its slow at times and fast at others. It took me 2 hours just to mount the bulkhead, there's no manual for this and this mod is mostly uncharted waters. As an example, finding a location for the bulkhead requires me to spend time taking the fender liner and carpet out just to investigate the situation, then more time to plan it out and even more time to actually execute. I'm used to projects that others have done first so I can just jump in do the work and button it all back up

Pretty much every part of this has been like that so far, everything takes multiple days and several attempts to achieve a good result.

Bulkhead and pressure sensor mounted

Made an AN-4 line, hope it doesn't leak!

Line, bulkhead, pressure sensor, inlet hose and harness in place.

Pump, tank bracket, flow sensor, and flow sensor harness mounted and connected to the bulkhead.

View with trimmed carpet in place. Not too bad really, the flap is obvious but not awful at all. I'm thinking about putting the tank in the spare well, for a really sleeper setup, but then I loose my spare tire and have to go back to the fix a flat thing.

Also changed my oil, used mobil 1, it was the best option Walmart had.

On the not so good side it seems I burned a good amount of oil this go round, like a quart and a half. Could be more I was just eyeballing the jugs after I filled them with used oil.

I'll have to keep an eye on the dipstick.


In addition I snagged this intake for a great price. I don't expect a performance gain but it looks sweet under the hood.

No idea. I run two bottles each change, rather play it a smidge safer.

89F, 70% humidity, probably over 100F on the driveway and in the garage. Despite all that I finalized everything on the front end of the car. All plumbing is complete. The solenoid is also wired to the control wires that go to the back of the car.

At this stage all I have left to do is run the wires for the CAN bus, wire up the controller and mount the tank. I need to source a trigger wire in the rear somewhere, I can't imagine that could be too difficult.

I also installed this no-tune Roush intake I scored used. I like how it looks under the hood. The next picture shows the car after the nozzles were mounted and plumbed, you quite literally can't tell anything is done unless you know exactly where to look

I used a Deutsch connector, if the solenoid ever dies this will make it easier to replace.

No vacuum leaks, fuel trims are identical to before. I was worried I would have to remake the hoses, but they are holding so far!

I'm so excited to get this up and running, I have found a good amount of evidence that supports my plan to do this, lets just hope it all works in real life.

Also the intake didn't change how the car drives, it feels the same.

I've been running into this weird issue while turning sharply at low speeds. A few noticeable pops happens when the wheel is at full lock, usually in a parking lot or similar.

Been hunting it down for months, the car still had warranty when it started, so I've been working with a local ford dealer.

They've been good, once I demonstrated the noise they've been extremely helpful and attentive to it. They've replaced a strut mount and a steering shaft and still no dice. These people here have the same issue:

Mine is only when turning left, it is not being caused by the tire compound because it did it in the winter too on soft tires.


They've had my car for 3 days to do the two repairs and are still investigating, we'll see what they find. My guess is its either the rack itself, a ball joint, or a really weird bearing failure.

I've been driving my Fiancee's Honda Fit, which is a good car but very boring. I got in a "race" with a prius on an on ramp

Its very sad, but doesn't seem to effect anything else, it drives perfectly otherwise.

I'm not too worried, just wanted to get it fixed under warranty while I still had it.

I appreciate the compliment!

Trust, if I had e85, I’d be tuned and onto rear end stuff by now lol, but regularly getting e85 simply isn’t possible for me
