Hey all,
I figure its about time I started a journal. I have a Grabber Blue '17 GT, 6 speed manual. I purchased the car in November 2019, and it was bone stock.
My original plans were nothing too crazy. I'm a simple guy, I like the plain OEM look with some go-fast parts. You'll notice the "theme" right away. I wanted to make a competent street car, that was still comfortable to drive every day. The Grabber Blue gets a lot of attention from random people, I get compliments all the time. The exhaust sounds great at WOT, but isn't obtrusive during the daily grind. I'm also considering going down the forced induction route. Although not a true "sleeper", with a basically stock exterior and quiet exhaust I'm certain it will surprise quiet a few.
This is what is currently on the car:
Shelby GT350 intake
Shelby GT350 87mm throttle body
Ford Performance stage II OTS tune
Ford Performance touring cat-back exhaust
Ford Performance front strut tower bar
Ford Performance carbon fiber shift knob
MMD hood struts
5.0 black fuel door
These are the parts I have awaiting installation:
Ford Performance short throw shifter
Future modifications:
Ford Performance sway bars
Forced induction ;)
