I'm just curious if anyone else on here with a 2018 A10 GT PP has heard this sound? It's usually when I am making a hard turn going at low speed such as backing up or pulling into a parking spot. It almost has the sound of a bound spring. But sometimes it also feels funny in the steering wheel. Yesterday when I went to make a U-Turn when I cut the wheel all the way around, a second later it made a slight pop sound and the wheel turned in a bit more.

I think I can reproduce some of the noise just by parking and turning the wheel all the way to the left, then back to the right. I am going to play around with it a little more this evening and if I know I can produce it at will I am going to take it to the dealership to take a look.

I need to go in anyways because my sunglass tray has never been able to push all the way in. I checked for any sort of molding issue or something and couldn't see why it wouldn't go all the way in. It just doesn't appear to line up at all.

It is mad at you for not updating your sig..

Sounds like you could have an issue with the steering rack or possibly strut mounts.

Any updates? Mine is doing this as well. Hard full turns yields a minor pop/clunk. I am able to replicate when parked.

It's your tires.

Low-profile, summer-only tires do this when they get cold.

No worries.

I concur. My 2015 GT did the hollow basketball sound while backing up and turning. Had the factory 20" summer-only tires too. No issues or problems!
