We've made 553whp with a cross plane crank Coyote N/A build. Revved to 8800rpm. That's around 660 crank hp. This was in a s197 and 5 liters. If you're serious about doing this, shoot our sales staff your info at [email protected]

Thanks!

I would still like to see what the best tuned output will be with the best available bolt-ons and injectors gets to on e-85. Bang for the buck and all.

So right now the best we can do is about 510 to 530 rwhp because of the limited # of aftermarket go fast part. Meanwhile, I get called out yesterday by a 3200 lb. 505 hp ZO6. The guy and is wife pulled up next us and begged for just one race. Not a street race but wanted to schedule something in the near future. Of course I told him "hell no!" It would be a waste of fuel for both of us unless he was a terrible driver. The 600 lb. weight disadvantage I have would make it a waste of time. He was disappointed because this was the 1st GT-350 he had seen and wanted the opportunity to put that easy notch in his Chevy headboard. Anyway, I would love to be able to narrow the gap between the GT-350 and the NA version of the ZO6. With light weight wheels and close to 600 rwhp, without boost, this would be a good race. A drivers race. Well that's my story and just so you know, I hated turning him away. We need the aftermarket to step up their game. This car has the potential.

I myself would of been all over that offer. I think it'll be closer than you think.

With your set up, I would have. I'm still on stock tune and wheels. For you it would be a good race. One I would love to see.

I will mod and tune once and if I'm sure I will keep this car. If I hadn't been rear-ended by some punk texting, I would've already started modding. The hit has me wanting to sell or trade but kinda want to wait and see what 2018 has to offer.

I think a stock Z06 and a stock GT350 would have been a good race, seen both stock cars run high 11s to low 12s

Wow holy necro. And I had a C6 Z06. It would’ve smoked my GT350 in a straight line. Quarter mile trap speed was 128 mph vs 166-118ish. I do feel my GT350 would beat it on a road course though.

I had a few friends with c6 Z06s they really had a hard time with traction to get in the 11s, drag radials were a must to get in the 11s

My 2016 has FBO with E85 pushing over 600 hp at the crank. To get to 700 hp at the crank isn’t worth the money you would invest. Go with a supercharger or turbos and get way more power for less cost. Lol

I talked to Mike at L&M back about six months ago. Best rwhp numbers gained he's seen out cams for the GT350 is 30, with 35 on the high end depending on fuel type. The big issue is the cost of install. I was quoted $6k for a set of cams including install. That doesn't include tuning, install of billet OPG, and crank sprocket which I what I would do as well since they already have it torn down. If you add in long tube headers and a ported intake manifold by Brett Barber at AFS for a max effort FBO build, you are somewhere close to $11k for 550-570 rwhp. I would love to do that but keep going back and forth due to the ROI. It would be a blast though especially on a 350R or a regular 350 with lighter wheels, carbon fiber driveshaft, and lightweight battery. Rear seat delete optional.
