So you haven’t dynoed any gt350’s with your flex fuel system on E85 with the same or similar mods than I have? The only reason I’m asking is most set ups I’ve seen with full headers and exhaust with intake and some kind of e85 setup is around 530 rwhp. I would like to see if your tune gets more.
That’s crazy gains with just a flex fuel tune. I wonder what the tune with FBO would be? I have full kooks headers and exhaust, JLT intake with dyno tune. I also have the proflex flex fuel kit and I’m around 530 rwhp.
My 2016 has FBO with E85 pushing over 600 hp at the crank. To get to 700 hp at the crank isn’t worth the money you would invest. Go with a supercharger or turbos and get way more power for less cost. Lol
You are correct. Kooks mufflers are quieter in sport mode than the stock mufflers. I have the full kooks system with green cats. I’m debating on putting the stock mufflers back on to make it louder in sport mode. I’m also debating ordering the off road pipes to replace the green cats because I...
I have a 2016 gt350 with kooks headers, green cats and full kooks exhaust. I’ve been debating putting the stock mufflers back on and going with the off road pipes. It’s sounds ok at lower rpm but sounds a lot better at higher RPM. If you wanted to try creating a custom exhaust with kooks headers...
The key word is OEM. Anything original equipment is usually expensive. I believe the vinyl stripe option for both the gt350 and the GT500 when ordering is over $1k the GT500 has a painted stripe option that’s $10k so $1k isn’t that bad. There are aftermarket options out there but I’m not sure of...
Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I started adding options and my price went from $6990 to $12k really quick. I have Kooks headers on my car now. If it was designed for the stock headers I’m not sure my Kooks headers would work with it.
I went from having a tune with long tube headers and exhaust to adding a JLT and a new tune to run the JLT intake. It was a 10hp gain on the same dyno. I’m ignorant when it comes to tuning that’s why I pay someone to do it but if the car was already tuned and the adjustments were made just to...
Update: So I finally got my car dynoed with the proflex commander kit yesterday. I was around e73 and believe it or not my hp actually went down a little from my last dyno at the same shop. Torque did go up some but hp actually went down which is surprising because the car feels stronger. I was...
Where I live they range from $50-$100 depending on the shop for 3 pulls. The shop I got to do my 93 tune told me to come back when I get the E85 kit on and he would give me a free pull. He was curious to what the system would do.
That is weird but I think mine is where it’s supposed to be. Look at the middle line. That’s 50% so 70% is round about where mine is. On the other hand your 80% is less than 50%. Lol
I’m just curious why you keep saying the system is $1k. $799 isn’t $1k. Several bought it on sale. I like the system for the convenience. It’s easy to put on and just as easy to take off. I can mix fuel if I want. And I can run with my 93 tune. I can tell it makes good power. I chose not to go...
I can tell a difference since I’ve added the proflex commander. Even from having intake, full headers and exhaust and dyno tune. My best has been e71.
I hope to post my dyno results Friday. All my dyno have been done on a mustang dyno which dynos about 12% lower than a dynojet. Base my car made 415 rwhp which is around 465 on dynojet. With full kooks system (headers, green cats and exhaust) with tune it made 444 rwhp which is around 497 rwhp...
Update: I finally had a chance to take a look at the car to see what was going on. Come to find out it was something super simple causing my issues. Somehow the fuel sensor plug worked itself lose. Thank god it wasn’t something serious. The car runs super smooth now with noticeable power...
Thanks for the response to my questions. This forum is usually more active. I figured more would respond. Since I’ve went to e60 the delay hasn’t been as bad but I did notice a few times this morning that it hesitated for a second. I do notice a performance difference and plan to get my car...
I finally got my system hooked up. Through the week I drove my gas down to 25 miles til empty. I ended up running everything to the back to hide the wires better. When I started the car for the first time everything sounded good. With 93 octane I was showing around 10% ethenal on the app. On my...
Man I really like the lights. I actually live in Simpsonville SC. I’m not on Instagram but would like to get in touch with him to get a quote. Does he have a business location or another way to contact him? I love the orange gt350 also.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question. Did you flip the harness to be able to route it to the back? If so doesn’t that change the order of the injectors and would that cause issues?
