maybe this why Chapman refuses to take money on the order until its producedWith a signed DORA and deposit with Granger I am locked in on pricing. Pretty sure that is standard.

I think because Granger and Chapman do below invoice it is at time of you basically getting your vehicle or after it is built is why you may have to pay for mark up afterward. I know when I ordered my car there was a price hike two or three weeks afterward. I did pay MSRP and paid MSRP off my order date on a signed piece of paper showing what I had agreed to.see my response right before yours. Chapman in PA basically said yes to paying the price when the car is produced not ordered
Wow, if that is true I am really less than impressed with Chapman. They had a good advertised price, but if its not locked in with the price increase even with Ford saying invoiced cars aren’t impacted it erodes a lot of the value. Plus communication with them has been mediocre at best.see my response right before yours. Chapman in PA basically said yes to paying the price when the car is produced not ordered
my option would be a bronco or 250 instead I reckon. but ordering for those is gone too now.My options are looking at non-HP cars already on the lot and making my own changes. Im going to hold out a little longer before I walk away from my order.
I will update this thread when the time is appropriate, assuming my vehicle gets built someday.Wow, if that is true I am really less than impressed with Chapman. We are stuck in a rut, my friend.my option would be a bronco or 250 instead I reckon. but ordering for those is gone too now.
agreed. and there was that news arty yesterday or wednesday that they are removing the nav option on broncos to ship them, well, ford, if you are listening. come to us who've been waiting forever and let us know the holdups and give us the option to remove options or what type of lead time we can expect to keep them.We are stuck in a rut, my friend.
Dont get me started on Chapman...Wow, if that is true I am really less than impressed with Chapman. You have to wonder why they put the EB and GT over the Mach 1 and GT500. Two local dealers near me have 10+ EB/GTs that have been sitting for more than 2 weeks.Ford really should stop all new orders until they can fulfill existing ones, or at least catch-up. It really infuriates me to have to wait until March for only tires, and still not get a build date.
Also seeing dealer ordered EB and GT with premium options get ahead of my 2021 order, proves there really is no rhyme or reason to the ordering system and priority codes.
FYI, I have now been moved to a priority 1. Crickets from Ford![]()
lots of similiar parts between M1 and GT500 that EB and GT do not share. could be much of the issue. You have to wonder why they put the EB and GT over the Mach 1 and GT500. Two local dealers near me have 10+ EB/GTs that have been sitting for more than 2 weeks.
You have a bad experience with Chapman? I'm genuinely curious because I've only heard good things about them on here, which is why I ordered from them in the first placeDont get me started on Chapman...![]()
