Well now first week of April it will ship to the dealer.

Car was built 1/21. Waiting something. Pushed 2x. Now 3/21 to 3/27.
Pushed for 3rd time to first week of April, ship to dealer.

I'll contact Granger tomorrow, but I expect a 4th push. The lack of communication is maddening. I get that there are supply issues, but failure to proactively keep customers in the loop is unacceptable.

Just got a email that my build got pushed a week from May 9 to the 16th

I’m guessing if Flat Rock is closed next week again then I’ll get another reschedule email

no and I have to say after 5 months I can see why the cancelled orders are bouncing off the walls.

What I learned from the last year was that the Ford build date did not mean "we are going to build it on this date", but rather "we are not going to build it sooner than this date". I can imagine how Ford got to this scheme and why they are keeping this practice over to this year - they have nothing better.
Unfortunately any down time at Flat Rock means that all already scheduled cars must be shifted and it is not good for your mental health, so do not read too much into advertised dates. Just hang in there.
We can always hope that Ford learned a lesson from the last year and won't take orders for builds they won't be able to fulfill. But this I believe should affect orders from April/May i.e. the middle of the ordering cycle.

When I contacted Chapman regarding my order I was told

" *the POC/DORA may not be the final invoice price & only an estimate…Ford/Stellantis occasionally has price increases during the course of production…once the vehicle is produced, we will be invoiced from Ford/Stellantis…we will provide you a copy of the invoice & honor our pricing discount (ie % under invoice/$ off MSRP) in this email thread off based on what Ford/Stellantis invoices us at time the vehicle is produced.* "

Those of us who already ordered before the price increases are safe, right? I'm going to be pissed if I have to pay an extra $4k or so because Ford couldn't produce my car in a reasonable amount of time.

If we are stuck with the price increases, then I might as well just go buy one off the lot at MSRP for the same price so I have the car now.

see my response right before yours. Chapman in PA basically said yes to paying the price when the car is produced not ordered
