Yeah will see if I can get more information out of them next week. Something definitely happened. Dropped it off in the AM on time under a scheduled appointment and it took over 24hrs. Other here said 15min - 2 Hours.
Thanks, I'm actually out in Houston with it. Highly rated place, they also had a new GT500 they were servicing. Was surprised to fail emissions when I see people rolling coal and all that every now and then in Texas lol. A lot of pickups that clearly sound like they have no catalytic or muffler...
I had an oil change covered by service contract at a reputable dealer. All was good with the car, just needed an oil change, decided to get the recall update and get an emissions test as well.
Youd think id be straight forward but I guess not, and this dealer had very good ratings. My GPS did...
Somewhat of a weird post, I have a 22 Mach 1 and need to replace my tires. I have the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires as well as Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s. You can see my dilema here.
Total mileage on the PS4S < 6000mi
Total mileage on the PS AS4 < 2000mi
No tracking miles, no...
@Skye Beautiful Mach 1. Sometimes I wish I didn't get all black lol. 285 Looks great here, looks more than 10mm to be honest. At 285 Ill sacrifice tire protection, and at least least it be flush with the rim.
As suggested looking beyond Michelin, yeah it looks like nothing exists over 285...
Actually I am so stupid. The OEM size on the HP is 305 front, 315 rear. For some reason I though it was smaller. I guess this means I have to get the lip molding and mudflap, at 275 its already throwing dirt down the sides.
I have a 22 Mach 1 and I need help with tire sizing on this thing.
The OEM tire size was 255/40 front on 9.5in Rims and 275/40 on 10in in the rear. Handling was great my only issue was I bought this as a daily. The original Michelin Pilot Sport 4S was bad in the cold weather. In normal weather...
OP all of this back and forth isn't going to get your car fixed. @Tomster and @Cobra Jet have provided you with good information.
As other suggested gather as much supporting evidence as possible, and file a small claims. You may also need to bring a mechanic. You screwed up taking a "racing"...
Reviving this thread because it's the top one on google for newish results and I did this yesterday on my 2022 Mach 1 with no issues.
In the rear I went from 275/40 R19 to 325/30 R19. The OEM value was 2178mm but the tiresize.com calculator said 2207 for the OEM tire. The reason for the...
@HoosierDaddy So in other words nobody actually knows LOL. If you want my own anecdotal evidence, I've looked all over online and have not once saw a APIM module need replacement after a failed upgrade/jailbreak let alone damage other hardware components. It's unlikely as the device is only...
Okay sure, but best case you get a free good faith repair, worst case if the system is bricked to the point of a black screen, nobody knows. And like you said it only invalidates the sync3 warranty. If for some reason an unrepairable brick happens out of warranty, from what I understand you just...
Wouldn't it make sense to do this UNDER warranty near expiry, where you have a non-zero chance of getting it fixed if messed up, and leaving it alone versus doing this as soon as your warranty expires.
Ehh its not "just anything" if you cant buy it. @Obsidian your best bet is really just getting it off a wreck or buying it black and getting it painted this is probably how Ford is making them. If that's the code, a good body shop will have software that gives them the exact OEM mix.
To kind of revive and put closer on this, no one involved in Ford's cyber security will post anything publicly. Ford will only release gross details to the public as advertisement. Unfortunately that's the most you'll get. Based on documents Ford is required to submit to the government (or...
If I am you id be more concerned with the salt they throw around in NJ. For me at least I have zero intentions to sell and NJ is very good with salting creating rust and corrosion.
