Thanks, if that is the case then I am good, I did upgrade to the B&O setup but don't need the traffic stuff or voice activation or nav as I will never use it
I opted out of the B&O for my order, When my car comes I can always add a trunk sub if I want. I really want the exhaust note mixed with Nirvana. My personal mix tape… lol

Just a note for those thinking about not opting for navigation: It has been my experience driving along the rural/mountain West, that the maps in the phone apps depend on cell phone signal. If there is no signal and there is no offline map downloads for the area, then you are out of luck. A car’s navigation system that uses satellites is still the best option for such areas…or resurrect your old Garmin that is in storage

I am wondering if the B&O was worth it given how many say the system isn't that great but it came with one of the packages

You really need to hear in person. It’s not going to win awards at a stereo competition but I think it’s nice. Before deciding to order I went to the dealer and sat in a car with the b&o and one without back to back. It sold me.

You can also download maps offline on Google Maps. You just lose the traffic aspect of it.

Not to mention the car's nav is actually pretty good, i tried it few times and really like it. The screen is big enough and voice control is fun to use on it 😁

I live in a major area so am not too worried about cellular service as it relates to maps, and my current car has turned me off to built in NAV and I only use Waze or Google Maps, even on my wife's audi we just use carplay and not the built in system.

I am sure the new Ford system is great though

Depends on how old your experience is. Nav in my Passat 2010 is atrocious, but Ford came a long way. It has lane directions, turn countdown on the nav display and main display in front of you too, the map is very detailed and accurate here from what I can tell. The responsiveness is fast (not lightning fast but then again my phone isn't either).

Haven't tried Sygic over Android Auto yet, but at least now I don't have to attach phone to the dashboard anymore.

But I guess 500 bucks can be used in better ways.

Called FP...again....finally good news....moved to in production!!! Ford couldn't have cut it any closer from a 7/2 order. My app says in production also but the window sticker isn't there yet. I gotta believe I'll have one of the last bunch of chassis numbers.

She is finally home! And looking good with her stablemate. It warmed up today so I could drive it home on dry roads.

I just picked up my car today. I got the B&O and was trying it out tonight in the garage. I too was wondering the same thing - was it worth it. It is much better than the premium sound I had in my 2017 GT. Not sure yet if it was worth it. Given how good the car sounds it may not be on that much.

Was finally able to access my window sticker today…looks like it will finally happen. It seems a number of us late builds have velocity blue.

I assume I won’t see it at Granger until mid January, so I have to figure out whether I’ll drive out from Denver to trailer it back or have it shipped out here.
