I bought a 22 S4
they just called today to let me know the Mach 1 was ready for pickup and I had to tell them sorry, if anyone is in NH there is a dealer with what might be a HP with the 6 spd on the lot soon
I ordered it back in 12-4-21, finally got a build 11/27/2022, but now I can’t take it as I already bought something new
how do you even know if it has the handling package - the email I got from ford just said the following
2023 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback:
5.0L Ti-VCT V8 Engine (470 HP)...
Since my 22 order didn't get fulfilled it looks like the dealer I ordered from just reordered this for me
2023 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback:
5.0L Ti-VCT V8 Engine (470 HP)
TREMEC® 6-speed Manual Transmission (w/Rev Matching)
19” x 10.5” (F) 19” X 11” (R) Tarnished Dark-Painted Aluminum...
Last email I got was on 3/19/22 titled A change in your 2022 Mustang Mach 1 order and said the following …. “Thanks again for placing your 2022Mustang Mach 1 order. While we’ve been busy working to get your new vehicle into production, we’ve run into a few delays.”
I placed the order 12/8/21...
It looks like the tabs get lifted toward the posts/nuts and then it should slide out though if you’re having this much trouble and admit your not mechanically inclined then I’d think a tow to a shop might be prudent
I hear you but for me the Mach 1 was the most I could see spending on a mustang, everyone has their limit but if I was looking at more money it would be a C8 or a Porsche
the Roush looks super nice though for sure
I think I might give up on mine and refocus on that new AMG C43 with the 400HP 2.0 - more practical and who knows maybe you can actually get the thing.
I won't cancel the order but I haven't heard anything and don't expect any updates soon, plus with gas and all can only figure it will get dumb.
Last email I got was Saturday 3/19 saying a delay in my order and then I saw an article saying all Mustang production was halted
Ford To Halt Mustang Production While GM Idles Down Camaro Builds (ibtimes.com)
so not super optimistic
does everyone coat or use film? or does anyone just drive it?
Just reading some of these posts is like stressful worrying about what to use what not to use etc.
I have a Mach 1 on order but I might bail out of it and go back to looking at Caymans just because they fit in my 3rd car garage and it was what I originally wanted.
Mach 1 looks nice, and would be about the same cost for one new as a used Cayman in good shape, but the refinement of the Cayman...
This was pretty much my rationale as well, I looked at used GT350 prices and they seem to the moon, the Mach 1 if you can get it without ADM is cheaper new.
I still toy with the idea of just going for a used Cayman GTS and will most likely go down that path if my order falls through, but the...
is there really a concern about bottoming out with the splitter on speed bumps etc, while it seems lower it doesn't seem that low? if anything I'd be more worried about getting it too close to parking bricks in some lots.
