I did the same thing on my 350. I not of a fan of ppf. Years past I've seen people have problems with it on their F cars. Everyone told me I was crazy for not doing it.Yeah, after having two mustangs in a row with ppf applied I decided to forgo it on the 350.
I just relaxed a bit about the anxiety of rock chips and didn't fully trust it being on there for a lengthy period of time. I am not saying everyone should NOT do it, but for me it was a personal decision. I was just surprised that this happened on his Porsche as he is pretty meticulous about stuff.
