Heat will heal PPF. Use a blow dryer or heat gun, just go easy on the heat. If it actually punctured the PPF, there’s no healing it, you’ll have to get it redone.Well, after two pain-free years of zero anything damage, got to cars and coffee this morning and see this. Don’t know wtf I hit but something kicked up and bit the snake.
Going to try and get the plastic to settle down and glue it w/ isocyanate, then see if the ppf will relax.
Trying to heal ppf is a new one for me; any thoughts, comments and smart remarks appreciated.

It’s like getting track rash…but I didn’t get to have the fun that went with the battle damage. Maybe she stays status quo and earns some rash the right way? Lots of seat time at big Willow Springs, just not yet in the 350…hmmmmm….Heat will heal PPF. Use a blow dryer or heat gun, just go easy on the heat. No worries, will still be out and about, only temp will be 93 or so....Love the heat, HATE the cold...lol…check back in around July![]()
lol understood, complete opposite for me…I can always put more clothes ON but only take so many off before I’m breaking some silly rule about public decency or some such 🫠No worries, will still be out and about, only temp will be 93 or so....Love the heat, HATE the cold...
How was the repair process? Tolerable turn around time? Quality repair? Fair cost? I've heard Spyder takes a while but does good work. What say you? Finally off jack stands. My car has been out of commission since November. I hit a nasty pot hole on the 101 freeway of all places and cracked the front wheel around the lip. Surprisingly the wheel was still holding air. Pulled it off and sent it out to Spyder Composites for repair. Excited to finally drive this thing again.
