I am trying to keep the car close to stock driving characteristics while making it faster than stock. I literally cruise this car and drive it out of town.Have you considered switching rear shocks to double adjustables to tailor how the car handles for street vs strip? In addition, spring spacers can raise you back up. I have 1/4 spring spacers on my BMR Magneride drag springs which actually raise the car back up 1/2”. Apparently, when you run spring spacers, whatever the thickness is that you select, they will raise the car up by twice that amount.
If yours is a Magneride car, you’ll either need a set of Magneride delete se sorts or make your own. I chose to make my own, after trying the ones from Shock Delete Engineering worked intermittently.
All Mach 1’s have the Magnaride shocks on them. I thought about pulling all of it out but decided to see how far I can get with the Magnaride in place.
As far as the spring spacers, I did use the 1/4 inch spacers with GT500 springs. It seems to do the trick so far. The car does not sag with the JL Audio 12 inch sub box and JL amp in the trunk.
