Honestly though why did they feel the need to make a matte/semi-gloss front for the car? The hood makes sense to keep slare out of the drivers eye, but, the front bumper?

I'd KINDA get it if it was ALL that way and they said "to protect from paint chips" or something, but its just part of it.

All Ford has to to is leave the DH badges in the pallet, and bring the pallets marked Mach 1 and start slapping them on during assembly, and voila, you've got the new Mach 1, not to forget a white shifter ball in place of the blue titanium, and there's the New Mach 1. Or do you mean retooling to make a car they've not made in years, which will be about the price of a Shelby Super Snake? The S550 is gone. Plus once they unlock the ECU it's all over for older cars. Presently the S650 is being held back by Ford's refusal to unlock that pesky old ECU.
Don’t think they’re gonna be making another Mach 1 for a long time. A Boss maybe, but a Mach 1, doubtful.

In my humble opinion, the best thing Ford could do would be to kill the hideous dark horse and bring back the Mach one. From an outsider perspective, I believe the Mach one is the most desirable Mustang and it’s not even close.
They are not going to kill that hideous body style for a cycle. Maybe 2029 brings something better but the Accordmaro is here to stay for a few years.

Don't worry. The DH will,be gone soon. It and the V8 will be history, just like the Mach 1. Left will be the Ecoboost.

Only way I'd get a DH would be in a dark gray or black to hide that ugly "fat goth girl mascara" look.

The S650 is probably the first mustang I think the base model front end looks best.
Agree. I saw a yellow GT and the base front end looks way better than the added matte plastic highlights of the dark horse.

Millennials are in their 30's and 40's Ford may be trying to appeal to them with the 80's aesthetic bits, but the rest of it, mainly the ipad dash, is clearly aimed at making younger Gen Z and Alpha want a Mustang when they grow up.

Why not buy a DH and just have the front bits painted the body color?

I'm millenial and I knew there will not be nicer Mustang than Mach 1, so I jumped on it right when it came. Especially in Europe. I just don't see that love with Dark Horse. The front is rather hideous to me, car with no eyes..., the flatter sides with less shadows are not appealing, the angled upper rear part is weird. I would not buy a car I don't like even if it was significantly technically better and faster. I'm thankful that stars aligned just right.

Insane. Car manufactures are getting super greedy. $100k for that nonsense of a car? Yikes.

Most cars on the road are almost exactly the same. A slight tweak to a headlight or taillight here or there. The s550 (specifically the Shelby's and partially the Mach) set themselves apart from the crowd. Corvette first jumped the shark with the C8 and then Ford decided to let a third grader design the 650. It's a Frankenstein car that doesn't have any 'flow'. It might as well have an electric motor as it's soul-less.
