  1. Shelby American Teasers

I like the rear. Not so much on the front. Same recipe as always. The magnesium wheels are a change. How can it be a supersnake when it's not born a snake?
  2. Heritage CFTP with 13 miles for sale

Nice....How to call someone a peasant without actually calling them a peasant
  3. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

Matt Farah said the same as the previous GT500; it share parts with a rental vehicle. So what? A Bugatti shares parts with a Volkswagen. It's the parts it doesn't that makes it special.
  4. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

The closet comparison is a Stage 3 Roush and a Shelby. The Roush is classified as a modified GT and the Shelby is a specified trim level. Roush values reflect that. So yes the 'Shelby' name holds more value and clearly people are buying.
  5. Ford Inspector for Warranty Repair-Update:Warranty Denied Claim Due to Off Road Racing

How could drive your car legally near the limits except in a HPDE environment? You don't want to endanger people and property unless it's on a track. I think it preposterous to suggest that driving it near top speed or driving it at the limits deems it voided, since it was designed and...
  6. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

Yes but you can't add it to the registry
  7. Official: 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona (EV + ICE), Scat Pack, Daytona R/T Revealed! 670 Horsepower / 0-60mph in 3.3 Secs

I don't trust the performance numbers as Dodge always embellishes on them.
  8. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

Yes the name doesn't make the car as each trim/Performance level is just that and the name is just a representation of that level. You have to name it something and to have it in the name of a racing legend is better yet. The Shelby name has always been aligned to performance so it's a good...
  9. Long term would you rather…GT350 vs GT500

Not a ticking time bomb but there is a higher potential that something can go wrong.
  10. I hate bad old drivers.

for what it's worth I hate all people young and old
  11. How good is Royal Purple Oil?

I think most oils that meet specs are fine. I look at what you can get for the price. A little more you can get a true synthetic and not a 'tricked' term that is being used for most. IF you are not buying a Group 4 PAO its not a real synthetic and you are just a victim of marketing. Dino oil...
  12. Ford Inspector for Warranty Repair-Update:Warranty Denied Claim Due to Off Road Racing

I can't say I will never buy another performance vehicle from ford, but I can truly say a ESP will not be in the mix after this.
  13. Realistic value for my GT500

why don't you take off the mods and sell separately?
  14. Long term would you rather…GT350 vs GT500

Seems like a lot of people coming to the defense of the 350. Don't get me wrong the 350 is a great car., But tell me what the 350 does better then the 500 except in engine replacements. I do agree the 350 at peak rpm does sound glorious.
  15. How good is Royal Purple Oil?

I don't want to get in a debate on which oil to use but I run 5w50 Sig Amsoil in my two GT500. Also my Son's built Focus.
  16. How good is Royal Purple Oil?

I use a true synthetic(Group 4 PAO) and it ain't RP. Motorcraft 5W-50 sheers down quickly. For the money you can get better oil, but for most conventional that meets spec works with regular change intervals. You think the suggested brand from the manufacturer doesn't get something in...
  17. Ford Inspector for Warranty Repair-Update:Warranty Denied Claim Due to Off Road Racing

Here is the definition in Canada ,but I think it translates to what Racing is. Just driving the car at speed or anything of that nature isn't racing. sec.172 of the Highway Traffic Act, and it encompasses many acts on the roadway. Some of these acts are as follows: Exceeding the speed...
  18. Unofficial 2022 GT500 production numbers

No the paperweight was a extra item that many dealers gave out, but not in the kit
