sorry…don’t mean to
hijack the thread…

Is Beartooth Pass open??? My information says it’s closed…My plan was to leave Yellowstone by the NE Passage to Red Lodge…Instead I’ll take Rt 20 east towards Cody then onto Rt90 for Theodore Roosevelt J

Yes, is open. A little construction but motorcycle friends just traveled it earlier this week on their big street bikes.

Got rid of the red. Finally got the Ebay smoked bumper reflectors on. What a PITA to get to those nuts. The drivers one was difficult but manageable. The passenger side was impossible due to the active exhaust wiring harness in the way. I said F it and popped the clip and ripped it out breaking the stud off on purpose. Added a small square piece of double sided 3M tape to the back close to the stud on the new reflectors instead of using those gawd awful nuts. Much faster and simpler.

Non destructively removed the hydrocarbon filter in the 2022 GT air box to see if I notice anything different. You can simply unclip the retainer and pull it out without destroying the plastic weld.

Started a bit of a project. It’s no motor swap but I’m sure it will take a couple minutes.

Got stripes installed. Matched the pinstripe to my grabber blue stitched interior. Then washed it.

Oh gawd, are those solid aluminum diff bushings? Your rear end will be HOWLING louder than a real Coyote after those bad boys are installed....

Will probably feel awesome though. Just not necessarily fun on the street.

It would be awesome if you could do dbl readings before and after installing all of that. As ice445 mentioned, those aluminum diff/cradle inserts should make the rear end a lot louder......but does it?

And what about applying some sort of NVH deadening material on the body around those mounts to kill the added NVH?

I vote Yes.

Won't make any difference. (Acoustic engineer)

It’s a weekend car that I’m making into a track/weekend car. I’ve heard they get loud as all get out but I’m not too concerned. That being said I might change my mind when I install them 😂😂.

That’s an interesting thought… I’ll be doing a rear seat delete in a week or two. Maybe I can back it with something to help? I hear it makes a ton of NVH but it’s supposed to work like a champ. Time will tell, I’m installing all this on Jack stands in a cramped, hot-as-balls-and-even-more-humid garage.
