YesI'm tuned with Lund and bought the tune/ngauge package deal about a year ago and got a flex and E85R tunes. Is it typical of Lund to charge an additional $500 for a FI tune?

yep. its not cheap, but if you simply want the best, Lund is king daddySeems high considering they've tuned a number of these units and already have a base tune dialed in.
It's cheaper than having someone else tune it. They have to make adjustments for MAF transfer function, different injectors and I'm sure other odds and in's to make everything work like it is supposed to.Seems high considering they've tuned a number of these units and already have a base tune dialed in.
just cuz a steak restaurant is good at making steaks don’t mean you can go in and get a Wagyu for $9.99.I'm tuned with Lund and bought the tune/ngauge package deal about a year ago and got a flex and E85R tunes. Is it typical of Lund to charge an additional $500 for a FI tune?
FYI, boosted engines that started out NA will have ring gaps that are too tight for boost. This works ok for short pulls like dyno runs or quarter mile, but as soon as you do a longer pull the rings heat up enough to cause the ends to butt together and the ring lands break.
Not true. The rings are not gapped for boost so the CCV is less but with out detonation the will not melt. From another thread, curious on peoples opinion here.

What kind of quarter mile times we talking? So damn impressed with this ESS kit!! New PB 60-130 only changes were added 3” Magnaflow competition cat back and ran sport mode. Doesn’t shift has hard drag mode so less spin on the street. Still on 7.5 psi pulley

What kind of power?I’d like to think high 9’s @ 145 or so??? But who knows till I actually go. Most tracks are closed down here. If it had converter I’d think mid 9’s.
IDK it seems like that would be pretty impossible @Brad1810r80 have you had it dyno'd?to run those kind of 60-130 times in a stockish weight s550 it would need to be around mid 800s.
