The wideband o2 adjusts for fuel trims a little when the system is on. When is off you can see how much the cooling and octane were protecting from bad fuel. I had a system on an STI for 10 years without a hiccup. I even used on Ethanol mix on my BMW with great results and peace of mind.

If you don’t tune for it should b fine. I had a Few cars with meth in the past but didn’t add timing to the map. Just use it as extra octane and cooling.

Not true. The rings are not gapped for boost so the CCV is less but with out detonation the will not melt.

Exactly. Looks like a smaller pulley ( that obviously will have more volume at lower RPM). And a waste gate. I see a further benefit. Connect a boost controller and have few boost settings, even a per gear boost like I did on my STI.

Is this just a waste gate instead of the BOV?

What year, injectors and pump?

Maybe try key on have someone depress the pedal and look into it. Also scan your pedal %.

ON BMWs full open throttle ocurrs at 88%. maybe Ford do the same.
