    Have you tried just leaving off idle? My car has always seemed to work better just letting the converter flash off the line.

    I think previous tests shown 30-40hp between the two on a similar pulley. But I agree, if you can swing it, it's worth doing first time around.

    I just upgraded my G2 to a G3 and first impressions is there is a definite difference. Haven't had much luck with weather to get any dragy comparisons in. I ran a 5.10 60-130 on a 100mm pulley with the G2. I'll repeat it with the g3 here when I can.

    I've got a 245mm 3x9 Circle D converter in my car. I find it works best just mashing the gas off idle and let it flash. Easy 1.4 60fts that way. I have tried foot braking it to 2000-2500 and its far less consistent. Any suspension work at all?

    Those are the air shutters. I removed them from my car and never reinstalled them. I did ask when I had the car tuned to make sure to tune them out, but I'm not 100% sure it's required. There will be a sensor that it attached to them, I just zip tied it up out of the way.

    I'm fairly certain St. Thomas doesn't have air if that's where your heading. Do you have a spare tire or the emergency kit in the trunk? The emergency kit has an air pump you can plug in the lighter port in the center console. It's what I use to refill my tires at the track.

    I have a 4k ish Circle D converter in my car with the stock transmission thermostat / trans cooler and my temps haven't been an issue with day to day driving. It does change slow stop and go driving so I could see it not being for everyone.
