Hahahaha - I guess you like to pay more for something then what it's worth, good for you, most of us no better ...

So in your World pick up an item in Walmart that's marked with a price tag of $19.99 and when you get to check out the person at the register says "Hmmmmmm lets see there aren't to many of these left - You have to pay $39.99, wonder how that would go over for you - let us all know if you don't mind

AND YES IT IS THE SAME DAMN THING ...!!!!
Nice try, but a $19.99 Walmart item is no near the same discussion as an $80-105K automobile and I think you know it.

Quit it with your common sense, nobody around here likes that......if they want to spend 6 figures on a Mustang with an inferior chassis compared to other cars that they can purchase for cheaper and get the same performance then let them

You're missing the point of the free market. The free market says that anyone can or cannot pay whatever price a seller is asking for any item. It also says that a seller can ask any price they choose. Ultimately the market sets the price ie: look at housing. ADM haters get hung up on the seller asking a price that people will pay. Now, most 50K ADM GT500's wont sell for that, the dealers are more than welcome to ask. In fact, I've read on the forum opinions that state some dealers aren't interested in selling the GT500's or the R's they use them as bait.

Please enlighten us on these other "same performance" cars you can buy for cheaper than $80K without aftermarket modifications.

They leave it online WELL after the sale is final so people call then they try and sell you some other marked up POS they have on the lot - I HATE THEM ALL 🤬 🤬 🤬
That is fact. I made a few phone call inquiring about why my car was listed on the website right up to the point of sale. They assured me it was mine and I was told they do that because it gets people in the doors and on the lot.

They honored my deal and at the end of the day, thats all that matters.

I believe his real motive was to insult us folks on here that actually have cars - probably a Dodge fanboy trying to pollute our forum. In his profile under cars listed it says "Several" - yeah ok ... 🤪

Go look at his posts most all of them are all slams and sarcastic remarks about Mustangs and Ford. Just another jealous Dodge fanboy who can't afford a real car - go away, shoo fly, go back to the Dodge forum where you came from... 🤣 🤣 🤣

Prepare to be attacked by the ADM haters, this forum is full of them, socialists in sheep’s clothing
Shots fired. I've heard this quit a bit lately. The false dichotomy by those who vote against their own interests for tax free billionaires. The same people supported the destruction of democracy for 4 years recently. Then the Big Lie and January 6th happened. Anyone who supports the former Russia made monster in chief (ordered to kill Pence) after his lies and destruction are morally bankrupt.

Not really. Never had Walmart do that to me at the register. In most places I shop the prices of products are usually clearly marked. The stores set the prices because they own the product. You’re job as a buyer is to decide based on need or desire what you would pay for the product. You can either purchase or not. It is the product owners (stores) job to set prices at a level the market will hold. Considering the low numbers of GT500’s available at this time I’d say they’ve been rather accurate. Econ 101.
You just, without knowing it, said what everyone is saying here about ADM...

The price of any Ford vehicle IS clearly marked on the Window Sticker, it's the last line under the line items - MSRP. The ADM isn't, never was and will never be a FORD increase as it never was part of the CLEARLY MARKED MSRP directly from Ford. The ADM does not benefit Ford, it's an added amount by the Selling Dealer and only benefits the Selling Dealer.

Why anyone pays ADM "just because" is freaking beyond me.

One other note about ADM - if the vehicle ever ends up in a Buy Back situation and the Customer paid ADM, ADM is not recoverable by Ford RAV since it never was part of the original MSRP.

So why if the MSRP is clearly marked on a vehicle would you pay any value above it? The "WalMart scenario" is a perfect analogy and still applies to the discussion even though the product value at a WalMart was not $100k+. The point being is, if you wouldn't pay beyond retail price on the "sticker" of a product at ANY retail store - why would you pay above MSRP at any Dealership, regardless of Brand or vehicle type?

Think about it.

To each their own.

But the only thing I would personally consider paying a premium price for would be yet another chunk of real estate.
