Welp, you all were right. The dealership doesn’t have an allocation for the golden ticket. Said he would sell the base @ MSRP however and if he can get the golden ticket by year end, he will get me in.

That’s too bad man I guarantee you he won’t be able to get a golden ticket allocation. The only thing he would be able to do is buy an allocation from another dealership who has one. Some dealerships do that however the selling dealership usually charges an exorbitant mark up for said allocation

Sounds like sellers remorse to me.

Again, there is lots of money left on the table if they sell you a CFTP ar MSRP

Had similar happen to me; yes, we have an open allocation, just need a non-refundable deposit.
I was there in an just over an hour... We're sorry, the person you spoke to must have made a mistake; however, we will be getting a base GT500 in a few months that you can put a deposit on and it has only a $35k ADM... nothing but bait and switch, anything to get you in the door
